We had our wedding renewal there yesterday.... Renna & Susan in the catering dept were fantastic!! They helped us through all the things we needed to do to get ready for our big celebration. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. Nemo, the maître d’ made sure every detail we wanted was done. We couldn’t have asked for a better day or a more perfect place to celebrate with our family and friends!!

The sterling ballroom! We can not say enough about how amazing this venue was to us! No matter how many questions, and times we have showed up with crazy questions or even just to try things out in the ballroom, Melissa always made sure i left understanding and confident !! They were so easy to work with & so sweet ! Our over all experience was just wonderful & we couldn’t image having our wedding anywhere else !! Thank you so much guys to everyone who helped with anything & set everything up! There’s a lot of people to thank over there....i mean without you guys we wouldn’t of had the wedding we did & we appreciate you all !!! Truly a dream team. THANK YOU-thank you thank you !!! If you are still looking for a venue please stop and call the Sterling! When choosing a venue i was looking for something that was not only beautiful but convenient! I was a laidback bride and was looking to deal with as little people as possible. The Sterling has everything to offer.. i mean their packages are outrageous and you CANNOT beat the price! I narrowed my search down to two places and now I’ll be honest my husband calls me a snob when it comes to my expectations on customer service. At the end of the day Melissa is what sold me on the venue. She was the most genuine person i had met with when going on our hunt. She gave me all the right vibes and did not disappoint at any point in the two years we were planning the wedding. Emails were answered swiftly , concerns addressed right away! She was literally every brides dream team! I definitely have to give a shout out to both Reena and Nemo as well! Amazing amazing amazing. You will not be disappointed i promise! i cannot thank the double tree team enough for making our day so special !

On June 30, 2017 I recently married and had my ceremony and reception at the Sterling Ballroom in Tinton Falls. The pros were that the food and wait staff that handle the wedding were great. However as we had problems with rooms (air mattresses deflated and guest woke up on floor) and the wedding Maitre D was not professional and lacked at taking charge of a party. The Maitre D interrupted the bride to pay for 5 more plates while she was getting her hair and makeup done. (My DJ even said he was the worst he has seen) , the general manager response was I'm sorry. The company's mission statement is to fix a problem and make it right with solutions. We were offered no solutions whatsoever. I have never in my life been handled like this. Considering it was a wedding day for my wife that took numerous hours of planning, the hotels response was poor and unacceptable. There are other issues but It just too much to write.

On June 30, 2017 I was an usher at my friends wedding, the night before he also held his rehearsal dinner at the Sterling Ballroom. For the rehearsal dinner and the wedding the wait staff servicing the cocktail hour and reception were very good. However, I also experienced the maitre’d (Nemorio Rincon) not taking any initiative during the rehearsal nor the wedding ceremony. The groom had a room available for his ushers to change into there tuxedo’s. While we were in the room the grooms daughter knocked on our door to speak with the groom. I noticed the groom getting upset and asked what was the problem. He proceeded to tell me that the maitre’d insisted that he (the groom) pay the balance of the dinner plates, which was the total of two plates. Before the ceremony the maitre’d did not take charge of getting the wedding party in order. If I did not speak directly to him, he would have walked out of the room into the courtyard all by himself without the wedding party. While we were taking pictures management also approached the bride and groom for final payment of the dinner plates, the same two plates. During the reception while having dinner, the maitre’d once again approached the bride and groom for payment. Now I ask you, who does that? On this special day that can not be recreated. The bride and groom already paid for over 130 dinner plates, was spending the weekend at the hotel, very unprofessional.
