One of the best decisions I made was signing up for a beginners class over 5 years ago. CrossFit Volentia is unlike any other gym, the coaches are amazing and provide great advice on improving techniques. I also enjoy the social and community aspect with events run throughout the year for its members.

This the best gym in Rugby, I love this place. The coaches are amazing, so supportive and knowledgeable. The members are really friendly. There is a great community atmosphere which makes it a really fun place to train and get fit.

Can not recommend CrossFit Volentia Rugby enough!!!! You need to join!As a total newbie and “light” gym goer, joining has changed my world!I first joined the “She Lifts” programme which was brilliant. It helped me have the confidence to walk in to a gym like this. I learnt so much about lifting weights, technique and built muscle fast.I met some lovely ladies and the coaches were brilliant. If you are in he fence ladies, join “she lifts” you won’t regret it!After 4 months i decided to take the plunge and move to full fat CrossFit!This is my 3rd month and I’ve not looked back, im loving it.Im fitter and healthier than I’ve been in a long time, have made new friends and feel part of an amazing community .I’ve even just completed the CrossFit open, which believe me I would never have dreamed of a couple of years ago!Nick and Laura the business owners are awesome and so supportive. I recommend having a chat with them if you’re unsure.Hopefully see you at CrossFit soon !

In July my daughter laughingly asked me if I’d join CrossFit with her, and to her surprise I said yes. It was the best decision I made. I feel stronger and fitter than I have for years. I love the community, atmosphere and support from everyone. I look forward to every session.

I’ve been training here for about six months and it’s been a fantastic experience. The coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely care about helping everyone improve, regardless of fitness level. The programming is well thought out, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the community makes it easy to stay motivated and consistent. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to train.

CrossFit is intense, but as a person who needs to be forced to get into exercise it is perfect, and Volentia coaches and members are so supportive and have helped me become a better CrossFitter. Love the community and the actual achievements I make however small they are.

After spending so many years trying different ways to get fit — the gym, aerobic classes, spinning and more — I’d always end up getting bored and losing motivation. A few years ago I decided to give CrossFit a try, and I’m so glad I did because I absolutely love it!It’s honestly addictive now, and I can’t imagine my week without going to my CrossFit classes.Even my three kids attend the kids/teens sessions and they love it too! The coaches are fantastic — supportive, encouraging and always helping you get the most out of every workout. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I’ve met some lovely people and made some really great friends along the way.The workouts are definitely challenging, but everything can be scaled to suit your ability, which makes it accessible for everyone no matter your fitness level. My fitness has improved so much, and the best part is I’ve had so much fun doing it.Thank you CrossFit Volentia!

Been going for 3.5 years now and I only sometimes question whether it was the right choice, that only happens when there’s burpees or thrusters in the workout. In all seriousness love going to this place, it’s become part of my routine and highlights of the week going here and seeing everyone try their best but it really is the community and coaches that make this place special

2 and a bit years ago, I noted that I was getting a bit of the middle age spread and it was probably about time I stepped my mid-life crisis up a gear. I'd already bought a scooter and got myself a man-bun, so the only things left to do were join a cult or get a Revenge Body. In this case the revenge was on my 30s and that punk had it coming, let me tell you!So, I thought, why not do both cult and revenge body? That's when Crissfit walked into my life like an angel clad in kick ass heavy metal chains and spikes and said "I got your back, bro!" Then it hoisted me on it's broad shoulders, and suddenly I was able to pick up heavy stuff and do handstands.So... yeah join Crossfit Volentia and you too can be a cool member of a cult and also be super sexy and strong. And then you can tell everyone about it like an over-zealous vegan.

I've been attending for almost 18 months, first in small group classes, then She Lifts and now as a regular member. The coaches are supportive and it's a really friendly atmosphere too. There's always an exercise you can do, everything is scaled to your ability if needed. My fitness has improved and I've had fun whilst doing it.

I've found everyone at Crossfit Volentia to be really encouraging and supportive. I hadn't done any exercises for decades and was a complete beginner, but the coaches have really helped build my confidence and my fitness levels. I really enjoy the classes and can see my progress month on month.

I’ve been going for just over a year, and it’s the first time I’ve ever stuck with a gym routine for more than a few months. I’ve learned so many new skills and feel the fittest I’ve been as an adult. The flexible class times make it easy to train around work and kids, and the coaches are fantastic at helping with progressions and managing any existing injuries. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Laura is really good at pushing me to lift heavier weights by carefully observing my form and encouraging me to add just the right amount of weight each time.I love working in a small group at CrossFit Volentia because it creates a focused, supportive energy where everyone is motivated and you actually feel noticed. The atmosphere makes it easier to push myself without feeling overwhelmed, and finishing each session leaves me feeling strong and proud of what I accomplished.

Every coach here is absolutely amazing, and each of them brings a unique approach to training! The variety is incredible, and it allows you to learn different techniques. What I appreciate the most is that every coach takes the time to explain each exercise in detail, which is extremely helpful for someone like me who started with zero knowledge.

Highly recommended!Update for 2025: Just completed my second CrossFit Games interbox competition, which really highlights what makes working out at this box so special. The competition was challenging but I felt fully supported by both my team and coaches throughout. The atmosphere is the perfect balance of serious training and fun social interaction - plus there was cake! What more could you want? This place continues to exceed my expectations year after year.
