I’d like to start by explaining how and why I was looking for a gym. I am a 61 yr old who has always been fit until I had been laid up with both legs being realigned do to the wear on my inside of my knees from many years of extreme sports and physical labour, and psoriatic arthritis, then a random assault from street junkie two years ago leaving me with facial fractures, herniated discs, and a separated shoulder just after a two year recovery from my legs, once again had laid me up for two years of rehab. I was a Pilates guys and did Pilates 2-3 times per week until this happened and in the past 6 months had restarted attending classes but this is where I needed more to not only stretch and reintroduce the muscle memory to my body but actually build muscle as my body was aging. I started looking for a gym that would be user friendly, age appropriate and most of all understand my injuries and help me with my journey to getting back to being me. OC Fitness has checked all the boxes for me, I can’t thank Michelle and Dan enough for their guidance, both with the professional knowledge in all areas from food to exercise. Dan is my coach, and from the minute I walked into this gym you knew both the pride and enthusiasm this owner/ coach has for his work place by the neatness and the vibe from the participants with hard work ethics, people are enjoying themselves. Which is one of the reasons I didn't like the gym. The no pain-no gain thing never motivated me. I feel like the team at OC Fit really know how to adapt and work with each and every person at the gym. They don't have a one-size-fits-all method. They learn about everyone and they train you the way that you'll best see results. And I saw results. Albeit not DRASTIC - but I work slow and that's okay. Slow is better than not at all. OC Fitness has a well designed plan, knowledgeable trainers and flexible scheduling. Unlike a lot of gyms they make your nutrition part of the program which is key to success. I really enjoyed their workout structure and trainer, Olivia. Unfortunately they aren’t upfront and deceptive on their structure vs. trial period. Really disappointed.

If you are looking for something that will change your life for the better, Dan and OCA is it...it's the real thing...no joke. If you had told me 4 months ago, I would be 40 lbs lighter and 3 sizes smaller I would have thought it was impossible...but this is my new reality...and thanks to Dan it's awesome. This place is awesome. In 3 months, I lost 30 pounds and 9% fat. I succeded with the Intro Challenge (Loose 20 pound or 5% body fat in 5 week). All you have to do is Show up and do what you are told. Every workout is different and the trainers are energetics and knowledgeable. The diet is easy to follow and I rarely feel hungry.

A great place to train! Excellent coaches and a friendly atmosphere. They have modern, well maintained equipment, and they adapt workouts to all levels of experience. The small group training sessions feel more like one-on-one sessions, because they are attentive to each student's needs. Keep up the good work!

Orchard city athletics has made working out fun again. The atmosphere, the people and the trainers all have a positive energy that seems to flow through each work-out. I've finally found a place that I can recommend to everyone, so get off the couch and go check them out. You won't regret it....
I did the 6 week challenge and loved every class! Every day is different, and challenging. All the coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and fantastic!! The members are also so inclusive and helpful. The small size makes it really personalized and there is nothing I could want more in a gym. We signed on as members because I couldn't imagine not having this gym as part of my regular routine!

I’m 3 weeks into my 6 weeks challenge, I’ve lost 10lbs and feel great! I really appreciate the individual attention I’ve received from Dan during the workouts as I’m new to most of the equipment/exercises. It’s a fun supportive atmosphere and I always feel the results of the workouts. I have also started cooking way more which my wife really appreciates.

The workouts were tailored to both strength, cardio and fat loss. The weekly monitoring of body fat, not weight, was key to the accountability of the program. You can gain muscle and lose fat, but stay the same weight, so the fat loss monitoring was key. The coaches at OC are warm and welcoming and modify the movements to suit your needs, while still pushing you along. It is always a warm and friendly environment. You work out in teams or as a group and the energy stays high the whole workout. The location is also good with the Mission Creek trail right beside the facility for running and the new public beach across the road for the Beach "WOD". Overall I am really impressed with the staff, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the fellow athletes. Less

Love working out with Dan! My wife and I have done personal training at Inspire personal training for over a year and moved to Dan and have not looked back. Dan's knowledge and energy go hand in hand and he brings it every day and every session. We do personal training with Dan and would highly recommend him for anyone who is a beginner to a seasoned vet! Thanks for everything Dan!
Awesome supportive environment with excellent coaching. The Women's classes are a great way to start out and get a feel for the type of workouts offered. Workouts are always challenging and new. Highly recommended!
The best CrossFit gym and fitness/nutrition advice available in Kelowna. They also offer a suite of massage therapy and athletic therapy options to ensure a 360° wellness experience.
