Poona itself is just beautiful ! But unfortunately the caravan park hasn’t been maintained to a good standard . They need to fix the gastro smelling septic system, which has its red overload light flashing constantly . The smell from this through the park is not a pleasant experience .

Well if you haven't stayed here you're missing out on a lovely experience ! The park was always clean and tidy the staff very helpful . The view from the waterfront caravan sites beautiful and peaceful well worth the money, a big shout out to the cooks and staff at the Tides out cafe , great food and entertainment, thanks Don and everyone for making our stay memorable, until next time , cheers.

Big sites with concrete slabs. Very short walk to the foreshore. Lovely quiet little park with an excellent cafe/ bar in the park. Nightly dinner specials and the pizzas were brilliant

Great place to stay. Showers are older, but water pressure plus heat can not go wrong. Rented room above shop for family and it was huge and very comfortable. I stayed in CP, and sites were very spacious. Apparently, they do have lots of sandflies, but we didn't have a problem at this time of year. Easiest stroll to the beach. Will come back. JP

Stayed in a cabin. Most of the dishes were dirty I had to wash them when I got there. Floors were filthy our feet were black from them. Sheets were stained. Was giving sheets for the bunk bed and told to make up the bed myself .Screen door kept falling off the hinge and wouldn’t shut properly so I couldn’t let any fresh air in while I was there . Asked if someone could fix it but they never came.Poona is a cute lil spot if you’re staying in a caravan but would not recommend the cabins at all .

As i was travelling through Maryborough, I dropped by to have a look at Poona Caravan Park to check it out for a future holiday.Looks like a spot we will bring the van up and stay at later in the year.

Good atmosphere , friendly staff, well set up bush kitchen, tidy park, would recommend a look if in the area.
