Hello, I am happy to write a review of Uptown Assisted Living. It is a lovely, warm and inviting home for the clients who live there. It is open spaced with plenty of room for the "family" members who live there to get around. There are home cooked meals which are enjoyed by the clients who live there, and family members can join in as well. There are lots of celebrations! Whenever it is someone's birthday, they have fun, food, and a very festive environment. The staff is warm and loving, funny and very nurturing. Maribel Alvarez has provided a wonderful alternative for families who are unable to care for the aging loved ones. She, herself, is one of the most loving people I know, and has sure to pass this value onto her staff. I rate UAL very highly. Sharon Silvio Less

Uptown Assisted Living is a loving and family environment. The home is clean and beautiful inside and outside. When I met with the owner regarding my dad residing at Uptown he had a very large and deep heal wound. It was at the point of him losing his foot. Maribel the owner and the nurse Jacinta unselfishly accepted my dad knowing the challenges they had ahead of them. From day one and to date, the attention to my dad's wound is 100%. My dad's wound has improved tremendously and the worry of him losing his foot is gone. We are so thankful for the care my dad is receiving from Uptown . My dad tells me often how happy he is and loves his new home. The entire staff are very attentive to the residents and treats them like family. We have no complaints and wouldn't change a thing.
