He obviously understands what working with pets is like, particularly dogs, and had an assortment of treats/toys available to help make sure my dog was encouraged to sit still or face the right directions. I was allowed to have as much creative input as I wanted while ensuring everything was still done professional with his guidance to allow for a solid end product.At the follow-up appointment, we were able to go through every photo he took, and every permutation available to ensure I received the product that was right for me. If you want a photo of your pet in a professional setting, this is the place. Lubera portraits is so patient with dogs, and you have the open space to get the perfect shot, while always including breaks for treats and licks. I wanted maternity photos to get 1 shot of the dogs licking or looking at the belly, and he worked very hard to make sure we got it. He has really beautiful frames that he can print for you, but they were far out of my budget. Although he is still figuring out pricing so this may change.. What I loved was the option to have digitals so I can post them, print and send to friends.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! This was the first time I have had professional pictures taken of Honu. Kevin was so patient and very collaborative. After the session, I had a vision in my head of how I wanted to showcase the photos. At our zoom follow-up, Kevin assisted me with achieving this goal within my budget.

I had a great experience working with Kevin for a photo session with my dog. Anyone who has tried to photograph a pet knows that it can be unpredictable, but Kevin was incredibly patient throughout the entire session. My dog moved around a lot and had plenty of moments where he was more interested in exploring than sitting still, yet Kevin never seemed rushed or frustrated. He took the time to work with my dog’s pace and personality, which made the whole experience much more relaxed.From the beginning, Kevin set very clear expectations about how the session would work. He explained the process step by step, from the shoot itself to how the photos would be reviewed and selected afterward. I really appreciated that transparency because it helped me understand what to expect and made everything feel organized and straightforward.The quality of the photos were excellent. When we reviewed the images, I was impressed by how many great moments he was able to catch even with all the movement during the session.Another thing I appreciated was that he took time to show and explain the different final products that were available. Seeing the options helped me understand how the images could actually be displayed or used rather than just sitting in a digital folder. Kevin was also very reasonable and open to coming to an agreement that fit what I was looking for, which I really respected.I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who wants high quality photos of their dog and wants to work with someone who makes the process clear and comfortable from start to finish.

Kevin was very kind and caring to my dog during the appointment. We’d never done a photoshoot with her before, so we weren’t sure how she would react. She was nervous but Kevin made sure that her comfort level was the biggest priority, and I really appreciate that. And the photos we got are amazing! Can’t wait to hang this on the wall! And even more amazing, Kevin is a one-man crew! He’s a hard worker, and you can tell he’s very passionate in what he does. Wish him all the best in the future!

I took a chance at doing a pet portrait for my cat, knowing that it could go either way because….thats how cats are. Kevin made things easy and did his best working with my cat (who was not giving her best face at times) while providing different options that worked best on how she wanted to pose. I appreciated that he gave different backgrounds/styles based on her fur color so it could really pop in pictures. Definitely recommend if you obsessed with your fur babies like I am!
