I have been having severe back problems for some time now. I just got back from having a free consultation with Breakthrough Health Centers in Bonita Springs. I was very impressed with the doctors' professionalism and how thorough they were. They gave me some kind of test using a computer and a sensor. It showed the Health of the nerves at each joint and comes up with a number to show the whether or not you qualify for their treatment. Mine was pretty bad, and naturally it qualified. You can decide if you want to continue with treatment at that time, or later. If you decide to continue, they need to take new special X-rays. Because I have an upcoming appointment with a spine specialist who practices minimally invasive surgery, I decided to wait until I see him before making my decision. Was this a problem? Not at all. From what I know now, I would definitely recommend Breakthrough Health Centers. I only gave it 4 stars just because I haven't started any treatment yet. Less

I have been treated by Drew and Kanema for about 4 years now, and I can say I have had only positive ongoing experience. I came in with regular chronic back pain, and their “crack is whack” approach of targeted adjustments based on neurological feedback rather than jerking your neck and body around has been efficacious for me and my wife. The Clark’s and their staff have always been courteous and professional. I too have tried the weight control program and have “fallen off the wagon” multiple times, but that is not due to any failing of the program but rather my own lack of discipline. Rather than being rude and discourteous as some allege, my experience with my failures have been the exact opposite. Both Drew and Kanema have been supportive and encouraging, and I personally have told them to push on me a little harder about getting with the program, but their consummate professionalism won’t allow for that. Just today, Kanema said “just get back on the horse” despite the failure. On a personal observation note, I have yet to see a woman as industrious as Kanema Clark. She is an attentive mother raising 4 children while being attentive to the needs of her patients. It’s kind of neat to see their kids growing, as they are often at the practice with their parents.
