I've used Aqua Wizards' services for several years, most recently to diagnose and repair what was wrong with my sewer main under the floor of my carriage house. As usual, they figured out the problem, which was serious. A large part of the 120-year-old pipe had simply given way, and retrieving the damaged pipe and replacing it required two days of excavation, repair, and refilling the 4-foot-deep hole they had to open in the carriage house floor. They always keep you apprised of what they are finding. My favorite part of the work they do is at the end of the project, when they take you through the details, using the pieces of old plumbing retrieved and photographs taken along the way. In a house as old as mine, these explanations of "the dig" are often fascinating little anthropology sessions demonstrating plumbing then and now. It's a great company with great people. Highly recommend!

We used Aqua Wizards Plumbing after a water backup in March. Before scheduling, my wife called several plumbing companies to compare pricing and understand what we should expect. Aqua Wizards came highly recommended in local Facebook groups, and during the phone conversation, we were left with the impression that the quoted amount would be the cost of the service.When the technician arrived, we learned that the amount discussed was actually the trip charge just to come to the house. That was a frustrating surprise. We felt the pricing was not communicated clearly upfront, and at that point our options were either to move forward or pay the trip charge and start over with another company.To be fair, the technician did excellent work. I even told him directly that my frustration was not with him, but with how the appointment and pricing expectations were handled before the visit. The quality of the work itself was very good.That said, the final cost was roughly double what other companies had quoted us for similar work. If price is not your primary concern and you want quality workmanship, Aqua Wizards may be a good fit. If cost matters to you, I strongly recommend asking detailed questions upfront and getting a clear understanding of all charges before scheduling.Our experience was a mix of excellent workmanship and disappointing communication around pricing. I believe future customers should be aware of both.
