I just wanted to reach out to you and say thank you so much for your services! I had my baby 6/26/26 and my labor was the same as my other 3 previous. I labored the day before lightly and was able to sleep on and off comfortably with a heating pad. The next day I lost my mucus plug and was having manageable contractions. My hubby took our kids to my dad’s late that evening and I labored in hot water in our tub for about an hour and a half. What I wanted to share that I did differently this time, thanks to you. While I was in the tub instead of tensing up and holding my breath during each contraction I did the opposite and opened my mouth and very lightly pushed down with each contraction and imagined my body opening and bringing baby down as best as I could. The hot water and tub was the best part of my labor. I didn’t realize how close I was to meeting our baby when I got out of the tub. I had been texting my midwife and doulas this whole time. But up until about 11pm that evening my contractions felt pretty tolerable. But after getting out of the bath I felt like I couldn’t do it anymore so I asked my midwife to meet us at the birth center at midnight. Now mind you I stayed at home as long as I could tolerate and I felt like I stayed home the same amount of time and as long as I could tolerate with my previous 3 pregnancies. With my other 3 when I got to the hospital I was only dilated to a about 1/2 cm and my labors just felt so long and exhausting. So my husband and I were both quite shocked when she checked me at 12:15 am I was 8.5 cm dilated. To say we were all shocked is an understatement. She immediately called her assistant midwife to come help. I didn’t even make it up the stairs to the room I originally planned to labor in. I was on my side with a peanut ball and the urge to push was something I’ve never experienced. My water broke and gushed out at 12:30am and I had my baby at 12:55am. The fastest labor and delivery I’ve ever experienced, my doula almost missed it! No one thought I was about to have the baby because of how calm my texts were. It was the hardest, most beautiful thing I’ve ever done in my life. But I have you to thank for transition and delivery being so much quicker and easier than all of my others. I’m amazed I did it all without an epidural and without being in a hospital setting. I was only at the birth center for 4 and 1/2 hours and we got to go home with our beautiful Brinley Fallon. 7 lbs 14 oz. Truly Crystal, thank you for your assistance in making my dreams come true with this birth! I felt like super woman and it was so redeeming with me having had 2 c sections and an epidural vbac with my previous 3. Thanks so much, Whitney

If you are looking for pelvic floor therapy then Crystal Caughron is fantastic! She listens to your concerns and then puts together a doable therapy plan to reach your goals. I personally went to her while I was pregnant with my second child looking for some preventative treatment. I had a much smoother birth and recovery with no tearing! After birth incontinence was nothing like after my first baby, which was very welcome! I ended up with a 4 finger separation at my abs (I didn’t heal my 2-3 finger separation from my first), and after 3 sessions it is down to 3 fingers at the widest part. I’m looking forward to finishing my sessions and seeing results. Highly recommend giving VAYA a call!

Crystal is so great at assessing problems, gathering information, and helping resolve issues related to pelvic floor function. I have had issues since I had my son years ago and within a month of starting therapy with her, I noticed marked improvement. I have recommended her to all my friends now.

Vaya is a place that truly looks at the whole person, taking into account all areas of one’s life that influence health and wellness. This allows for things that are sabotaging your body’s ability to heal itself to be truly revealed. This is quite a refreshing change from traditional Western medicine that only treats a symptom. Highly recommend this group of professionals. You can tell they are very convicted and passionate about what they do.!

I've been battling a knee injury since Thanksgiving no relief in sight then. Lynette Keys told me to come see her and Kelly Johnson at the clinic and see if the beamer would help and oh my goodness does it ever. Every time I go I'm greeted with a smile and hi and offered the drink of the day. the treatment is top notch and the customer service is fantastic.

Highly recommend. I have been struggling with a torn labrum injury from jiu jitsu. I started at VAYA about 3 weeks ago using their BEMER machine. Not only am I noticing improvements with my shoulder in my daily life, but I am also noticing performances increases in the gym and jiu jitsu. I’d you have any chronic pain, I highly recommend VAYA Physical Therapy and Wellness.
