My pup Cubby attended Spark's K-9 dog school Feb. & March 2026. John and crew are just amazing at training! Cubby has improved his behaviour dramatically and heels nicely. The results are fantastic especially when you consider how young my puppy is. He is only 5 months old and has the VERY BEST foundation in place now. Thank you Sparks K-9, you are the best!

The best dog trainer using the most effective and fair training methods. Ive been looking for guidance training my 2 yo male German Shepard mix. We’ve done puppy classes, a board and train and have spent thousands of dollars. I wanted a dog trainer that could offer guidance to teach ME and my dog. Did 1 session with John and am now completing the 10 week homework course. We are on week 2 and people are already stopping me to ask how I got my dog to behave so well. Wish I found Sparks K9 sooner!!

Rarely have I ever paid for a service that was exactly as advertised but also exceeded every expectation I could have had. It's not often that you come across a business that takes the time to get to know the owner and the dog as well as John and Kim. I would recommend them to anyone looking to improve their relationship with their furry companion. The class is engaging and the homework is thorough. The entire staff is available for information and help. I truly cannot say enough good things about this team. Boone and I are customers for life!

John is the best! He knows dogs and gives you helpful advice of things to do to work with your dog and overcome obstacles. If you listen to him and follow what he says. Tru is a great help also. They really care for dogs.
