Eric Rice from start to finish was professional, to the point, and well organized. What should have been a simple divorce was drug out into two separate hearings one where the opposing side trying to sue for back alimony and clearly had no case. Thankfully Eric's knowledge of case law showed in his confidence during the hearing. His smile put me at ease during the hearing, shortly after he and opposing counsel were in chambers the case was dropped. This was a refreshing win in my favor. The second hearing should have been quick and easy, but once again the ex had an agenda. Eric Rice took it in stride not allowing my ex to have any upper hand. The ex's attempts to further delay the judgement finally came to an end. Eric's knowledgeable staff worked on preparing the status only judgement divorce paperwork over a few months thereafter. MENTAL DIVERSION EXPERT! I would highly recommend Mrs. Debra Rice as she went above and beyond for my brothers court case. She did exactly what she said she would do and then some. The odds were not in his favor and we got far better odds than expected, as we already suspected the charges were not going to be dropped regardless of the lack of evidence the state had against him (Unfortunately, an officers word against yours is enough to seal the deal in a case now and days). Fortunately,she is a realist and will tell you each of the possibilities you can go with your case, then tell you which route will give you the best odds, within reason. Do not be mistaken though because she will go the toughest route possible if you are willing to, as she did with my brother. She was/is available throughout the entire case and was at no point unreachable, as she would always pick-up, email, text, or meet up. She gave great expert referrals that we needed for our particular case and further provided us with all the resources necessary to increase the odds of a great outcome. Her fees are beyond reasonable for the amount of traveling and time she had dedicated to our case, you will not find another attorney that will do it with a reasonable charge and have the same, if not better outcome. Furthermore, she was not just an attorney but an actual human being that treated us with dignity, respect, and never once made us feel uncomfortable. We could not have found a better attorney, I can not stress this enough! When we called her she advised to not bail out that riverside county law enforcement would realize their mistake never once lifting a finger other than answering our phone call. Except the r.o. was never dropped but my case against my ex wife sure was. I had stopped making payments and hired another attorney but she has sent a bill to collections to the tune of 6000 more dollars for a basic divorce. No property, one vehicle and supposed visitation with one child which her screw ups prevent. After hiring a new attorney and them looking through my case they were shocked at the majority of things she did or didn't do. She was grossly incompetent in my case. And since I started writing honest reviews 6 months ago my collections account has nearly doubled. So almost $15,000 total for a basic divorce and defense that she didn't competently carry out trying to strong arm me. *edit* and I now have proof at least some of her reviews are fake. Email me if you need help making a decision as important as finding an attorney in regards to this one *and apparently mrs rice is a liar as well. She seems to forget that she gave me receipts for the payments I made. I went with a different attorney due to her incompetence. The new attorney's words after reviewing what she had done. I recommend highly, Eric Rice to fight your case in court . He is a very clever attorney. He saved me from paying attorney fees by pointing out to the judge technical steps missed by petitioning attorney.
