I absolutely love working at Kidwings Nature School! We are creating a profound impact on the kids by enriching their minds, bodies, and souls through meaningful connections with nature. We get to explore many parks around San Diego, and it feels like an adventure every time! The kids play together, learn something new every day, and grow in so many ways. What makes Kidwings Nature School truly unique is that, in addition to our nature-based classes, we also offer empowerment classes on the weekends for both girls and boys. These classes cover a variety of topics designed to build confidence and foster a sense of connection—to themselves and to one another. I am not exaggerating this camp is LIFE CHANGING! I am reviewing one of KidWings camps but I have to say...I already knew that KidWings was wonderful because my niece has been attending their nature school for two years. She has the best time when she is there and they are always doing such cute little adventures. I can tell that there is a real focus on social and emotional development and I think it's so sweet to have such a nurturing and kind experience for pre school. Ok, so now to the review of camp. My daughter attended the My First Moon Camp over the summer. We missed last years so we were thrilled that she had a spot this time. I was already excited for her when I heard what the women had planned for the girls all week, but this camp far exceeded my expectations. The information was presented and taught in such an intentional and meaningful way. They learned about anatomy, and puberty, and how to love and care for your body while it is changing and across the lifespan. They danced and sang and did art. It was so great. My daughter came home each day just BEAMING and feeling so confident and proud. It was beautiful to see. The icing on the cake is that Friday they hosted a Mother/Daughter ceremony. I really can't put to words of unique and meaningful this evening was. It was such a beautiful opportunity to spend quality time with my daughter and connect in a deep way. I am endlessly grateful to Alex and Sandra for creating and hosting this amazing camp. Alex truly has a gift for connecting with the girls and inspiring a deep love, gratitude, and connection to their bodies and to nature. I am completely in awe of the seeds that she planted in my daughters heart and mind over the week. My daughter wants to return next year... and I am excited too. I've been raving about this camp to all my friends with daughters and will continue to recommend it.

This camp will empower young girls and educate them about their bodies, giving them the tools and confidence they need as they grow and develop. We will sign up again next year! The woman who leads the girls, Alex, is an amazing human, as are all of the women involved in making this camp the incredibly special experience it is.

I’m so grateful and blessed that my daughter and I were able to participate in the First Moon Summer Camp with KidWings Nature School. What a blessing to have these teachings for our daughters! I wish I could’ve had something like this when I was a girl heading into puberty. The facilitators/mentors were outstanding and my daughter wants to go back next summer. I highly recommend this camp for all girls!

Amazing Experience at Kidwings Nature School! This is my son's third year attending Kidwings Nature School summer camp, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. He absolutely loves it! The teachers are incredibly creative, and every day is filled with different activities that keep the kids engaged and excited. It's been a fantastic way to give him a much-needed break from screens, and I’ve noticed such a positive change in him because of it. He comes home every day with a big smile and lots of stories to share, which is the best part for me as a parent. The outdoor experiences, hands-on learning, and the connection to nature have been invaluable. I would highly recommend this camp to any family looking for a unique and enriching experience for their children. Thank you, Kidwings team, for all that you do!
