In 2017, he introduced us to Luba (Lyubov), whom he felt would be better suited to help her advance her learning of classical repertoire. Luba has over 20+ years of experience teaching music, and we absolutely adore her! She has great knowledge and my daughter has learned to play some pretty advanced pieces with her guidance. I can't express enough how grateful I am to Luba and to Andrew! My daughter has never sought to play music professionally, so her continued commitment to her weekly lessons for 12+ years (even with her busy high school schedule), is a testament to how much she truly enjoys being part of the ParkSlopeMusicLessons family! My child has taken lessons from 3 different music schools in Brooklyn and Park Slope Music Lessons is the best! My child plays multiple instruments and his teacher, Matt, has been amazing teaching him both trumpet and piano. Also, Matt has helped expand my child’s music knowledge.

My son looks forward to every lesson as Sean keeps him engaged with a range of different music. He is challenging my son further now but still keeps the lessons enjoyable and the practice manageable. We love hearing how far our son has come and enjoying the sounds of piano in our home. Our 8-year-old daughter has been taking lessons for 2 1/2 years. After watching Sean teach her brother for years, she was so excited to start. She began lessons remotely during Covid and with the Music Color Method, Sean was able to teach her at a great pace even through Zoom. She now takes in-person lessons and loves improving with Sean and learning new pieces. We are grateful the kids want to keep playing and that they look forward to lessons each week! Less
Our teacher Luba is dedicated, thoughtful and meticulous. She is clearly invested in my daughter's learning--she manages to be quite gentle with her, but makes her want to succeed.
Haeun is such a great piano teacher, my daughter always has so much fun and doesn't feel pressured or stressed. She is kind and patient and I'm so thankful that my daughter actually enjoys playing piano and is even getting pretty good!

Park Slope Music is a fantastic initiative and Saul Cosme a great teacher. He has taught my three grand-daughters, and done a fantastic job. They have really learned to love the piano. I can really recommend Park Slope Music. Great job!

I just want to say Haeun is incredible! A wonderful teacher and both my kids love her. Thank you for being so patient with them.
Wonderful and supportive program.
Priya is a wonderful teacher and we are so grateful for all the work she has done with Camille this year. Thank you!

Pre-pandemic, she was taking in-person piano lessons and really enjoying them. At the height of the pandemic, when school was all remote and we decided to do piano lessons remote as well, she kept them up through the end of the year, but then decided it was too much for her to keep taking on. And she's been away from the piano for quite some time now, over a year I'd say, but a few weeks ago, she just sat down and started playing through all the songs in her lesson book — for over an hour — completely out of the blue... and then she just... wrote this song, all on her own, again out of the blue. I say this to shout from the hilltops about the success of Park Slope Music Lessons in capturing her musical interest and giving her a skill that not only lives inside her, but also continues to inspire her. After being away from the piano for an enormous amount of time...she was still able to use the colors on the keys, along with her her musical ear, to play through everything... and actually write a song!!! I am so grateful to Andrew and his team for giving her those tools and such a supportive environment in which to develop and grow them. I hope that once the pandemic is over she might feel ready to do in-person lessons again, but even if she doesn't, what she has already received from Park Slope Music Lessons has been absolutely invaluable. A huge thanks to Andrew et al :-) Less
My daughter has been a student at Park Slope Music Lessons for years and it's been a fabulous experience. Piano has helped provide her with a different approach to thinking and learning and she truly enjoys it. The instructors are fantastic and do an amazing job connecting with each student and tailoring their approach to their individual needs. Thank you so much!
We are so thankful for Saul he is truly the best teacher for our daughter he is very encouraging, super professional and very patient with her. We are very happy to have him as Piano teacher. And we will like to always keep him if possible lol. We cannot wait for the show in January! See you next year Park Slope Music Lessons ☺️ Happy Holidays!!
My daughter had alot of fun with her trial lessons with Andrea. They use a great color base approach to early music learning for kids, and that’s honestly the best way to introduce them to piano.

We have loved being a part of the Park Slope Music Lessons family. The kids really like their teacher and are in their second year of piano lessons. The regularly organized recitals are great for their development and build a sense of community around music. Highly recommend.
Our daughter does weekly music lessons and she loves it! We recently moved to a new home further out from Park Slope and Andrew very diligently found us a teacher who could travel to our home. They also worked with us on our daughter’s unique needs and they strive to be inclusive.

I grew up with the Suzuki method so was admittedly a little skeptical but I love that Park Slope Music Lessons' method understands what's needed musically + what young children need to be engaged and motivated. My child practices multiple times a day and takes great pride in knowing how to play. She look forward to her lessons with Adrianna every week.
We have absolutely loved having Saul as an instructor, and we would highly recommend him for other students as well! Thank you, too, for conducting such an excellent music program, and well wishes for a successful year ahead!
We are having a great experience with PSML. Andrew is organized, great communicator and funny (especially important in the pandemic time). He paired us with a great teacher and my child is learning and loving music. It's a great place to start early music education and just a love for music.

Park Slope Music Lessons offers great flexibility in scheduling lessons and a great, age appropriate curriculum. They also provide tips and tricks for keeping our 4 y.o. son engaged and practicing even when he is otherwise tired, upset, or too bored. Great work!

My daughter has attended Park Slope Music Lessons for over 5 years. Andrew is very encouraging and allows students to learn a wide variety of music, including contemporary pop songs. The twice yearly recitals are excellent performance opportunities. I do not hesitate to recommend Park Slope Music Lessons.
Park slope music lessons is a great place for Children to learn music. My 5 year old son started piano last year and loves it! The learning methodology is great, and teacher very prepared to deal with children and share the love of music with them.
My daughter started to play from the day one! She was so excited to learn and play. Such a great way to introduce music to your kids as a fun thing without going through learning how to read the notes.
My son is four and a real busy body, but he always wants to attend music class with Mr. Andrew, his teacher. Davidson is always super excited about music lessons because it's so much fun for him, given that he started playing right away using the musicolor method.
I am very happy with this school, they are well organized, have a good method and good teachers and they hold recitals, which is very important for musical development as well as very fun for the whole family!
All three of our children (8, 7, and 4) are taking lessons, and they love it. The color method makes it easier for them to get started, and they're all excited about the pieces they are learning. Would highly recommend Park Slope Music Lessons to any parent looking to introduce their children to music.

If you want your child to learn and have fun with patient, creative and highly skilled musicians - this is the place and the method! My daughter and son are so thrilled with their lessons in piano and guitar. They look forward to their lessons every week and eagerly practice - on their own. Andrew is truly a gem. :)
Andrew is an absolute gem. Park Slope Music Lessons have helped both my kids learn, have fun and come out of their shells via music. Couldn't be happier with our piano and guitar lessons.
My daughter has been learning piano at Park Slope Music Lessons since she was only 3. She's still just 4 and has already played in three different recitals! Their method is wonderful for young children and gets them playing songs right away. Our teacher Frannie has been great. I would highly recommend them for music instruction for young children!
My 9 year son has had a great time learning/playing piano the last year or so, with the wonderful Frannie as his teacher. My son has claimed it as his own creative endeavor, and the experience has been really lovely.
Andrew is truly a very inspired and inspiring teacher. His system works, it is beautiful and it is effective. So we looked around. Prior to meeting Andrew we were struggling with 2 other music teachers and we've also done trial sessions with many others. I kept growing increasingly frustrated because none of the previous teachers accomplished any results, while at home my kid was showing progress with me trying to teach him on my own. I had heard of Andrew but because of his demand we were on a wait list. Then one day a spot opened up. After the first lesson my kid (at the time 4 years old) was playing the keyboard with 10 fingers. Throughout the year he kept learning new materials and within a year surpassed my limited skills on the keyboard. And it's all because Andrew has a method that works for kids. Since I've also seen other students accomplish a lot in a short time I know my kid is not an exception. For these reasons I give Andrew two enthusiastic thumbs up. Less
