Our family has gotten in deep with Musicolor- first my 12-y.o. son started piano lessons, then his 8-y.o. brother wanted in on the action, and then their Dad (me) decided to try his hand. Our instructors have been personable and informative working musicians who really tailor the instruction to the student- it's notable that three guys with very different temperament have all been making steady progress. My daughter started piano lessons with Andrew when she was just 4 years old. That was back in 2011. In 2017, he introduced us to Luba (Lyubov), whom he felt would be better suited to help her advance her learning of classical repertoire. Luba has over 20+ years of experience teaching music, and we absolutely adore her! She has great knowledge and my daughter has learned to play some pretty advanced pieces with her guidance. I can't express enough how grateful I am to Luba and to Andrew! My daughter has never sought to play music professionally, so her continued commitment to her weekly lessons for 12+ years (even with her busy high school schedule), is a testament to how much she truly enjoys being part of the ParkSlopeMusicLessons family!
