I have been to numerous CrossFit gyms during my travels and where I have lived, but Ada Valley is definitely #1.A few things that make Ada Valley standout from other gyms.1. Stretching/ Warming up. With every class we spend 10+ minutes on stretching/ warming up using dynamics/bands/ weighted pvc pipes.2. The Coaches go over technique and how to get to final result for the workout. For example if the workout has a hang power clean the coach will have us use a weighted pvc or barbell to practice each movement in the hang power clean including from the shin to above the knee for 5 reps, above the knee to hip crease 5 reps, hip crease to chest using fast exploding elbows 5 reps and then do the whole movement while watching each one of us letting us know how we can improve.3 The options to scale, I know Scaling is a dirty term in CrossFit, but it shouldn't be. When I first joined in January of 2025 the options for the workout were: Scaled/ RX/ RX+, Mariah and team updated the wording now to Sweat/ Train/ Compete. The coaches go over the appropriate way to scale if needed.4. The programming: The programming is great working with various benchmark workouts that CrossFit is associated with and others that Mariah and team wrote themselves pushing us to the limit and making us better Cross Fitters.5. The atmosphere is wonderful, since Ada Valley purchased the space next door now there is at least double the workout space for those shuttle runs, inch worms, dynamics and the class can spread out.6. The Coaches are all very positive and willing to help when it's needed, they want us to do our best and it shows by how much effort they put into each and every class.7. The competition aspect of it, Ada Valley encourages it's athletes to compete in CrossFit events and get better and see how we measure up to competition. During the Tru Challenge formally know as the Festivus games October 2025 the gym had over 20 athletes competing. Everyone was cheering on everyone and we all had a great time representing the gym.Since joining Ada Valley CrossFit in January 2025 I have not only lost weight, gained muscle, gained confidence, but also made a bunch of friends. We also cheer for each other and root one another on during the workouts.PS- I usually go to 6am class so looking forward to meeting you and I can share more of my story of how Ada Valley changed my life for the better.Thanks Mariah and team for giving me the confidence and helping get me into some of the best shape of my life.-Bill
