I came upon Justine Hair Braiding and stopped in the day before I wanted my hair done to speak to the stylist to make sure she could execute what I wanted. The stylist was friendly and understood what I wanted and told me to come in the next morning. Come in the next morning and we got straight to work, she did a couple of braids to make sure the size, length, etc was what I wanted (which I appreciated!!) my style took about 7 1/2-8 hours but it was well worth it!! Very professional. Took me right away as a walk in, had me in and out before lunch time. They didn’t have my hair color, but improvised and I LOVE my braids! Highly recommended: I booked a last min appointment for Marley twist and Justine put her foot in it. These are beautiful, even and exactly what I was looking for. My edges weren’t gripped for dear life and she was kind while she did my hair. I have pretty dense hair that usually takes a while to braid in small twists but Justine did my whole head in about 3 hours. Perfect.

I went out of town for the weekend and let’s just say I wake up braids in bed. I take a shower braid on floor. I’m just relaxing on sofa, get off sofa another lost braid. I got micro singles. The loop at the root was large enough to tie around my neck. Braids not tight at all. The ends was not tied off properly. By the time I returned to Maryland I had lost 15 braids. I call the shop owner who was nice. She said to go back in to the shop to have them corrected. She was out of town. I went in the shop and began to inform the braider that was there my situation she began laughing. They then began to redo the ones that had come out and the ones they visibly saw that was loose. Let me tell you three weeks later I’m still losing braids. I wanted them to redo all the braids not just the ones that were visibly loose. My entire head need a redo. Not to mention they used large amounts of hair in one tiny braid. My braids are only three weeks old and they look as if I have had them for months. Let’s just say I will never return to this shop and I don’t think anyone should go. That’s what happens when you are being to lazy to drive to your normal braider. WON’T HAPPEN AGAIN!!!!! My experience went well, was very helpful with picking a style and the prices are reasonable.

They’re very nice people but they cannot braid. My braids were horrible. I even came back for them to fix some of my braids and it was still a mess. Four days after my service my hair was coming out of the braids. I’ve never! I had to go to Stella’s (in laurel) for them to redo which ended up costing me more money! Do not waste your time or money.

A couple of years ago, I went with my sister to get my hair braided. It was to my surprise that the stylists were using a comb with dandruff on it. My sister and I had caught a very severe, fungal kind of dandruff that lasted for years. Never went back to this salon and do not plan on going back.

This is by far the best hair braiding salon ever....the staff here are extremely friendly, and they don't just do hair just to do it, they enjoy what they do so they take their time and make sure you look amazing...I have been satisfied every time I came therre and walked out lookin like a goddess....I would definitely recommend this place...I come here on the regular and wouldn't go anywhere else. Don't ever step foot in this shop, you've been warned! These women cannot braid my braids only lasted a few days and the lady Gloria/Glory had a nerve to snatch money out of my hand when I paid for my services. She's extremely rude and unprofessional. $160 dollars down the drain, I had to take my braids out after a week because they were frizzy and the ends were unraveling smh

I wouldn't recommend going here to anybody!!! The hair stylist are horrible and they do not offer any refunds so even if you don't like your hair you are stuck. I recently went here and the owner wasn't there and there was not anyone else I could talk to about my hair. I'm really disappointed with the work. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!

They have you make appointments for a style,you're there on time but they're busy so they lie to you and say we dont do that but they did it for me before NEVER GOING BACK

Paid 60$ for nothing. Called early to ask if they twisted locs, was told told yes. This woman clearly has never twisted locs, and not to mentionmy hair is still dirty. Only sat inder the dryer for 25 mins, and 15mins after leaving the shop my hair looks WORSE than it did when i walked in. Go literally anywhere else to have ur hair done.

I have been going here off and on for about 5 years. Justine is the best!! She never disappoints me. I dont even have to tell her what to do.

I got senagalese twists about 2 months ago, they did them quickly, took me after hours since I didn't get off work till 7 that night. I loved the work they did. Now I'm getting braids tomorrow!!! I love this place!

Ghetto!!! The "stylist" walk around like they are at home. They have no shoes on. One stylist brought in her infant & actually took breaks doing someone's hair to soothe & feed the baby....crazy! They are not friendly or professional. Would never recommend to anyone!

Like most ladies I am picky about my hair and willing to pay any amount. I'm not writing this out of out of lies or spite. I just want to tell my experience to maybe improve the shop or help someone else. Anyway upon my arrival, my hair was washed. I showed the stylist the picture and she also agreed the style would be achieved. About two cornrows in, I noticed that there were roaches crawling. I then noticed that they were everywhere! The owner explained it was the landlord's fault. I had to be at work at 730 so I sucked it up and did not fly out of there. It was disgusting and unprofessional. Yes I could have left but I was not going to work looking crazy. The style was finished and I explained it did not look like the picture. I was so frustrated, tired, and disgusted, plus the owner had taken my payment prior to leaving. I decided to let her know the next day that I was not satisfied. The stylist then asked me for a ride home....in which I was not going to say no, obviously I'm soft. Dropped her off. Contacted the owner with a picture of my hair and the style. No response. I will personally never go back because I was not satisfied with the services, and the disgusting roaches! That's the short version of my story. Good Luck and this is my experience.
