Barbeque in North Dakota. Consistency is the key !!!! I have been here 4 times now trying to capture the same impression that I had on day one, but sadly, it has failed. Night and Day difference. I mean what happened? Just Dayyyuuuum. That BRISKET was so freaking good at first. Now…. Each time I ask for moist and marbled I never get it. There is absolutely no seasoning not even on the ends. My friend returned here on the second time and noticed it too, and it was very disappointed and she has NOT been back. I’m mighty afraid that today was my last straw. I specifically asked for moist and marbled. I didn’t get any marbled at all. It lacked any kind of seasoning and flavor. As a matter of fact, I think they just threw it on the smoker ….if even that.The mac & cheese was dry and lacking and even the extra cheese sauce that goes on the brisket sandwich was stiff and I couldn’t even pour it out of the container. I had no silverware and no napkins….. The silverware was not an issue because I was not about to eat the mac & cheese anyway.. It just did not look good and after digging in it with the lid from the barbecue sauce, it wasn’t worth eating (chance #3—AGAIN)Bones ribs were def NOT anywhere near the best ribs I have EVer had and they too lacked ANY amt of seasoning to even get a ribbon.So so disappointing I can’t even start to tell you. Sorry…. I have had to remove my original post which I gave 5/5 stars due to the blatant inconsistency. Less

I wasn’t a fan of Bones when it first opened. Decided to give them another shot a few months back and have been very impressed. Been there three times this past year and every time it seems like the food is a little bit better than the time before. Had the ribs last time and they were amazing. Less

Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Food was top-notch. Portions are very generous. Smoked chicken was delightful, brisket was perfect, and pulled pork is excellent. First time going here and will be a must stop place whenever we're in Minot. Less
