I completed the Executive Program online. I absolutely loved it. The teachers were absolutely amazing. Very easy to talk to and very helpful when I needed extra help. Any questions I had the staff was always available to help from scheduling classes to making sure I knew about upcoming job opportunities and getting my resume together. I did not need an education for an entry level cannabis job and better positions want a formal education like a Bachelor degree. Also I informed the school I planned on moving out of state and asked if their job placement assistance would be able to help me find employment in another state. In response they said yes but when it came time there was no assistance available beyond suggesting that I start a Linkdin account which I already had and look on Indeed which I already knew to do. However, It is important to take into consideration that this is a brick and mortar college and a first of its kind. They are on a mission to create something that has NEVER been done before and for all of the right reasons. Needless to say, I signed up for the horticulture major and I am beyond stoked to start this new journey! If you are passionate about marijuana for any reason I would strongly recommend taking the intro course and learning more about the program. The industry is already thriving where marijuana is legal but trained professionals are few and far between. The beauty in it is that they need us as much as we need them and the potential to pursue a career in this industry, in my opinion, is greater than ever and will only continue to boom as more and more states go green.
