Took a anniversary trip and it was super nice. Great location and super nice cabin enjoyed the peace and quiet.alot of privacy enjoyed sitting by fire and the jaccuzi tub outside .Highly recommend definitely will b back. We stayed in the windstorm cabin

Lovely secluded location with 1 other near cabin. Many amenities provided on-site a fridge a bit larger than an average RV fridge, a microwave, hotplate, with a small skillet, sauce pan, plates and utensils, grill tools were all there. You just bring your food, charcoal or wood for the fire pit. Great pet friendly location for myself 2 teens and our dogs. We would defiantly stay here again.

Great remote cabin with all you need.

We stayed a night in the americana cabin. The directions were very clear to get to the cabin. The cabin was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It’s a very cozy cabin. I will plan to come back and spend more than a night! We went to the diamond crater and everything so close in town.

Rich's Windstorm Cabin is a great place to stay. Tucked away in a peaceful location, this cabin has a country feel, but any and all modern technology and convenience you could ask for. Rich made things easy from check-in to check-out with lots of helpful information and instructions. The cabin is located in a beautiful area, close to lots of hiking trail opportunities and the Buffalo River.

Great place. Nice comfortable cabin. Felt like home instead of a place to stay. Easy to book and hassle free check in and check out. Have everything you need. Bed was soo comfortable you will fall asleep instantly. Overall best getaway I ever had thanks to this place making me feel like I was at home than on vacation.

But one of them had issues getting in & out of the top bunk since it kept tilting over so they slept on the pullout couch. All of the windows made you feel like you were outside, just warmer! For the price, you really get your money’s worth and then some. Also, the AC remote is hanging above the kitchen sink! Less

The cabin is exactly what I was hoping for. I well built beautiful cabin in the middle of nowhere where….Well, with a grocery store close. And this did not disappoint. Everything from the mountain view to the well done craftsmanship of the cabin made this stay perfect.

I loved the place we stayed at! It was the Americana very clean and organized and everything you need for a stay will definitely return 😍❤️💯

Outstanding piece full and relaxing

My wife and I just stayed in the windstorm cabin everything was perfect very secluded just far enough away from town the outside Jacuzzi was the best, we enjoyed cooking on the grill under the lighted pavilion very romantic there are hiking trails relatively close i Suggest the Indian rock house trail we loved it and it was nice to come back to the secluded cabin to unwind together

Here's my advice for future Windstorm Cabin guests: ---Make time in your schedule to just be at the cabin & to enjoy the beautiful setting --Bring food to grill! Everything else is amply provided within the kitchen and the grill gazebo. --Enjoy the Jacuzzi tub on the porch! It was awesome soaking in the hot water while soaking in the view & listening to the sounds of nature! --The AC works great in the loft! No need to worry about the loft bedroom being hot; we were there in 100+ temps and the unit kept us cool! Less

Rented both cabins for 2 night stay. 5 adults in American and 6 adults in Codex. Very clean and comfortable. We had a fishing trip during the day, fried our fish outdoors that night, and enjoyed several hours on the deck and around the firepit.

Cute little cabin! Wish I had more time to go to the lake and explore! Not far from crater of diamond state park - about 20 minutes. Mexican restaurant in town is amazing!! Oh this a dry area so bring what you need or you will have a long drive to get any adult beverages. Only one place in town serves in the restaurant. The arcade was a blast!

I have never slept in a more comfortable bed!! Puts my bed at home to shame. A very cozy cabin with a great wooded area around.

We went to Crater of Diamonds State Park, and the drive was fairly short from the cabin. The cabin is located in a very scenic area near the Parker Creek Recreation Area and Lake Greeson. The cabin was decorated nicely and fit the theme for an outdoor trip. The bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed the tv/entertainment system and were glad to find a dvd player, since we had brought some movies to watch. The Codex Cabin featured a kitchen, which we were glad to have since we brought a lot of our own food. There was an outdoor seating area on the porch, as well as a picnic eating area next to the cabin. We would stay again and would recommend to others!!! Less

Nice little cabin in the woods. Everything you will need for a nice stay. Very quiet spot away from town. Grandkids loved the loft. Only got a four star because we had an HVAC (heat) problem while we were there. Onsite maintenance guy helped with a temporary fix. Hope the owner takes care of it before the next guest.

Not a fingerprint to be found on any surface! I wish we could have stayed longer but they are popular and were booked up. I think we got lucky just getting these days booked. Well worth it too! It was easy to get to as well. I have a small car and it had no problems in the driveway even when it rained the driveway was easy to maneuver. They think of everything here. They had the fire pit stacked with wood and the matches set out and even had a nice looking bbq pit. Sadly it rained so we couldn’t light it. We enjoyed ourselves and were comfortable. It was peaceful too. We are hoping to come back next summer for a longer vacation. Less

I really wish I could give it 4.5 stars. It was the cutest little cabin. I would 100% stay there again. The only negative thing I had was that the bed was uncomfortable and shower was small for my 6'4" husband. But like I said, I would definitely go back and highly recommend it. The kids fought over the bunk beds because they thought they were so neat.

Great place to stay. I brought the family. As my 9 year old said "This is not a cabin, but a master piece". The loft upstairs is really only for kids and they loved it. It had internet and a kitchen we used.

We stayed May 17 and 18th 2021. Very nice place! Very clean, perfect for what we needed. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

The cabin is in a beautiful area; well maintained,very clean,well stocked with bascis.. We had nice neighbors.. There was a nice kennel for my Furbaby... he Loved the deck! We plan to go again...plenty to do..we needed extra days.

Was a quaint cabin and nicely positioned off the road. We saw Bambi every morning. Very relaxing. They did have a steep driveway and I was glad we brought the truck.

We had such a great time at our cabin! We loved seeing the wildlife on the drive up to the cabin and it was so cozy when we got there. We played dominoes one night just because the ambiance was so fun in the cabin. We didn't find any diamonds but hopefully next time will be more fruitful! 100% recommend this place!

Great little cabin and easy to find with provided directions. We tried to use gps and it tried to send us through a river.
