I literally had panic attacks in the past just thinking about going in, so I dealt with pain, but this injury was not going to go away on its own. Called Otto Chiropractic because of their great reviews online. Explained my situation and Mitch asked me to come in the same morning. I met Dr Levi and he was incredible right from day one. He eased my mind on their adjustment technique. I could actually walk after just one adjustment. He also surprised me by asking me to come in again that afternoon to more or less jumpstart the recovery process. I am feeling 80 percent better in just a few weeks. Thank you Dr Levi. Dr Levi was who I have experience with. I had stated in the beginning that I thought weight lifting may be the cause of the pain and he told me he would teach me how to lift to avoid injury eventually. This never happened. He recommended I go in 3 times a week for awhile. We eventually dialed it back to twice a week. Sometimes he was ready to see me at my appointment time, sometimes he was 15 minutes late, talking through things with other patients in the room next door. He never really seemed to want to talk through anything with me. I felt like he just wanted to get me in and out as soon as possible. After around 2 months of the 3 times a week and then twice a week visits, my insurance company expected them to re-evaluate my condition. They ignored that request and had me a sign a form stating that I would cover any cost my insurance company doesn't. At one point Levi stated that I would only need to come back once a week moving forward but, i don't know if he forgot or what because on the following visit he stated i needed to continue coming back twice a week. During the course of the last few visits I told him that the pain was gone. He responded with "this is when the work really begins"... Here we are in April and I have been pain free since mid January when I decided to stop going. The twice a week visits at that point were excessive and I view them as just a source of regular reoccurring revenue for the office. At the beginning and at some point during my whole experience i was given informational philosophical paperwork related to chiropractic services. I was also asked what my goals were for next year. I get borderline cult vibes. Now, they keep calling and texting me to see when i am going to come in again even though I've asked them to stop. I also believe that they overcharged my HSA as I met my deductible mid-December but still continued paying my $35 co-pay though the end of the year. Less

I remembered him from high school and said why not give him a try. Well, I can say that was the best decision I could’ve ever made. Over the course of about 24 years, dr. Ken has helped me with an awful lot of things. For instance, wrist (due to repetitive motion, therefore helping prevent carpal tunnel syndrome) and ankle adjustments, of course hip, back and neck adjustments regularly and recently he even gave me an adjustment for my jaw, due to misalignment. He has great suggestions for helping with a lot of ailments you might have. One of those recommendations has given me a lot more energy and overall better health. Dr. Ken was very helpful with helping with my father when he had Alzheimer’s disease. He gave me some needed suggestions in that area. He may not always say what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. He’s got your best interests at heart, it’s easy to see. I have this tendency to ask a lot of questions and he has always been patient and honest with me about things. If he doesn’t know, he will say so. I appreciate that attitude a lot. His staff has always been super nice as well. After all, they laugh at (almost) all of my jokes. I cannot recommend dr. Ken and company enough. They will take great care of you without question. Ken Otto's office had a TON of open slots which I though was a little odd but decided to book anyway because the reviews didn't seem too bad. I was in there for a total of about 20 mins, most of which was filling out paperwork. He saw me for literally 5 minutes, did two very quick adjustments without finding out any background about me or my situation. Then he tried to very quickly set up about 10 more appointments within about the next two weeks. When I raised a concern about how much my insurance would cover and having to check, he became agitated and explained to me that I have a relatively low deductible and should't worry about it. Then I was charged $105 for the 5 minutes and was out the door. The next chiropractor I went to charged the same for an initial visit, but I was there for two hours and we covered everything from eating habits,exercise,stressors, ect.. All I can say is don't just pick a name out of the phone book or google search. Go with a friends recommendation and do your homework before throwing money away. Less
