UNITS was great with our recent move! We had to have the unit moved to a couple locations and everything went well each time. Jo and Mike had great communication and competitive prices with our companies. I liked how they were able to move the unit onto a tight driveway with no issues. I own a small moving company and we have contracts with several flooring companies to move stuff off the floors and put the stuff back. I could not be happier with our experience! Everyone was so kind and helpful during the entire process. Poor Mike, the delivery operator had horrible weather for delivery and pick up but was delightful and helpful. We had to store for several months and then move to a new location. Units made the process seamless. We moved our 3000 sq ft house plus a garage, from suburban to very rural, and there were no issues with weird locations, distance, or unpleasant weather. Their delivery system is the best I could find. I needed to get the Unit through an 8'10" opening and then to the side of the driveway. They did a great job delivering and removing the Unit. The Unit itself was exceptionally built and in great shape. We got 3.5" of rain and not one drop inside the Unit. I recommend Units Moving and Portable Storage. Less

I tried to use PODS for my move but they lied about the price, the container was late to arrive and when it did finally arrive the price had increased from what was agreed on the phone. Disgusting. On top of this, the container was filthy, I would have had to clean it myself in order to store my possessions. This was the final straw. My experience with Units of Detroit has been a breeze in comparison! Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful, the prices are a lot more reasonable than PODS and they have actually stuck to these. They really went out of their way to make sure my container was delivered to suit my schedule and it actually arrived on time and spotless. I would definitely recommend and would use again. The container was practically new. I had no worries about any water or critters getting in there through a gap or some rusted out hole. The customer service with Units is A+.
