We absolutely love Miller Street Dance. Our daughter has been taking classes here since she was in kindergarten. The teachers have been amazing. We moved about an hour away, 2 years ago. We visited much closer dance studios to our home, but quickly learned how special Miller Street really is. We decided that that the long drive was more than worth it for the excellent instruction that she is receiving at the studio. Our daughter enjoys every second. Less

This is our 5th year at Miller Street and our 2nd year with the performance company and each year I’m more impressed than the last. The costumes are always tasteful. The teachers are incredibly talented. The choreography is age appropriate and technically strong. You can always judge a dance school by their eldest students and the Seniors of Miller Street, many who have been there since they are itty biddy, are the most graceful and beautiful dancers I have seen outside of the professional dance community. I’m so proud to have Miller Street training my daughter to be the best dancer she can be! Less

Our 3 year old daughter went to her first dance class on Saturday and I was really impressed with how well the teachers worked with her and the rest of the class each with their own needs. And I noticed how organized they were sending all of them out a different direction at the end of class so that it was not too overwhelming for the little ones. Also the receptionist helped me at the front desk to look for ballet slippers since we didn't get ours yet. Less

Miller Street was the second dance studio I ever attended and I knew I needed to look no further. I started dance later than most, was certainly not the best, and yet I still received an unrivaled amount of support from my instructors. I can truly say that my teachers cared about me, and wanted to help me succeed. Staff who no longer work here still invest in me and check in, which is so rare to find anywhere, nonetheless a dance studio. I love this place so wholeheartedly I progressed and now have the pleasure of working here. Yes we are very human and make mistakes like any organization, but you will be hard pressed to find a better studio with a more genuine and loving owner. Less

Miller Street Dance Academy is such an amazing dance studio - from the time my daughter was in the 3-year-olds combo classes through her years of being on the competition team. The staff is beyond incredible, teaching technique in fun and creative ways and encouraging each individual dancer to their highest potential. My daughter has been attending MSDA Baxter since she was 1 1/2 in the mommy and me class. She has taken the combo classes, tumble, hip hop, and is now in the performance company taking jazz/tap choreography and technique classes. She also is taking ballet, acro, and lyrical. I am so impressed with how professional and courteous, the manager, Ms. Shae is. She goes above and beyond for all the families. The teachers are highly skilled and extremely passionate about dance. Ms. Jessica, the performance company director, is fun, energetic caring, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. We love the family environment created by her and all of the outstanding dance teachers. MSDA is known around the area for technique, but also the work they do with teaching the girls respect for each other and themselves. Costumes and dances are age appropriate. The studio also does many service projects, including dancer led projects. Their tuition fees are reasonable as well. MSDA has made it possible for the dancers to participate during the pandemic with videotaped classes and Zoom classes. Dancers were also able to perform in their classes and recitals in a safe manner. They didn't miss a beat! Less

We LOVE MSDA!! We're in the mommy & me class with Miss Cindy - my 2yo loves her! It's such a great way to introduce little ones to dance, music, creativity, & other children in a safe & encouraging environment. I appreciate how well MSDA implements CDC guidelines, which is the only reason we feel safe attending right now. They require masks, take temps at the door, and keep the kids very spread out - we each have our own mat / area that we must stay in. Highly recommend! Less

MSDA has been our dancer's home for over 6 years now. she has danced since age 2, but it has been at this studio where she has truly flourished and we feel like it is a family here. The staff and teachers are so amazing and with all of the pandemic stuff going on it has been quite impressive how they were able to keep our kids dancing. We Love MSDA and plan on staying until she graduates high school. It has been a fantastic experience over all. So grateful to Miss Michelle and everyone at both studios! Less

My 5 yr old daughter has been attending for 2 years and LOVES her dance classes! The teachers have all been so wonderful and she looks forward to seeing them each week. We attend classes at Providence and Baxter and both are equally as great! All of the teachers have been so encouraging, welcoming and provide such a warm and positive place for my daughter. She takes 5 classes in total and would love to take more, if only we had more time. The communication is regular and very thorough which really helps this busy mama. This is a great place for little ones to feel encouraged and grow in a community setting with others who have the same interests and passions. Less

Miller Street is the place to learn dance! About 8 years ago, I had originally signed up my daughter in another dance school that was close to us. She went to one class and I said this was absolutely not the dance school for my daughter. The way they talked to the children there was awful. The next week, She went to a different location of the same dance school and yet again here they were talking to these little children in the same awful way. The week following, I find Miller Street and from the moment that we walked in I knew this was going to be the place for my daughter to learn the art of dance. After my daughter’s first class here, I was convinced. The staff and instructors here are amazing, friendly and talented! I will drive the distance just to have my daughters learn at Miller Street! Kids enjoy learning dances and making new friends under the guidance and expertise of their teachers. Recital performance is a fun confidence builder and reward after consistent practice throughout the year. Excellent communication from office manager and owner. Ms. Shae is a gem! My daughter started dance at another studio and we switched to MSDA after a few years due to better scheduling. We quickly learned that we made a great decision. This studio has the most professional staff. Teachers love the kids and they teach technique, responsibility and fun. The kids learn to actually dance, not twerk! My daughter is always encouraged, even though she's not on the competition team. In 6 years, I've not once seen a teacher favor a particular child. In addition, they creatively managed through covid-19 putting on a limited recital. Can't say enough good things!! Love MSDA! Less

I rarely take the time to write reviews but am compelled to for Miller Street Dance because every bit of my daughter’s and my experience with them is not only top notch & efficient, but they’re so very warm, friendly, & instruct the kids in a nurturing, constructive way! We moved here from Chicago, where we had become accoustomed to many world class businesses, & have found Miller Street to be nothing short of outstanding! Less
