What a wonderful, inspiring afternoon at the 'cushion masterclass' led by Dawn.Timing was perfect for me as we are hoping to get our old sofa re upholstered and I'd love to add some personal touches to our little home makeover with homemade cushions, table runners and other little touches.Being inexperienced and a not very confident sewing machine 'driver', I came away buzzing with ideas and inspiration.It's great to know the I can join the regular 'social' or 'sewcial' sessions when I need advice and support for my project.If you are thinking of giving sewing a go, but don't know where to start, Create & Sew Studio in Chorley is a great place to start!

I attended the Clothes Making course recently and thoroughly enjoyed it.The tutor was excellent: supportive and attentive - and I learned so much in only 2 sessions.I'd recommend it to anyone who would like to learn more about making clothes.

Beginner class using a sewing machine. Class was helpful in what is needed to thread the machine, load the bobbin, look at different stitches, practice sewing lines and getting a feel for your machine.Tutor was helpful and didn’t rush you.We made a small bag on the evening, pictured below.We also got a brew and biscuits but I do think it was expensive for what we did and the time we were there.

This is a cosy studio to learn new skills. Small groups so you are sure to get all the help you need. Always a brew seconds away with biscuits. I have attended 3 classes now and enjoyed each one, l will be returning for more.Highly recommend, don't wait just book.

1 metre top class was really enjoyable. Dawn was great . It’s amazing how you can make such a flattering stylish top from 1 metre of fabric. Dawn chose the fabric and it was so perfect for my style and colouring . I love the finished top can see myself wearing it lots and can definitely see more of them in my wardrobe. Thank you Dawn

Really fantastic. Dawn was endlessly patient with my lefty attempts to learn and explained everything beautifully. The class flew by, I so enjoy the chat with both Dawn and the other classmates (who I didn't know before I arrived). I think Crafting attracts a lovely crowd! Go along, you won't be sorry you did.
