Not only is this location breathtaking, but Jim and Odilia are two of the sweetest people I have met! They went out of their way to make our stay wonderful, with happy hour, amazing food and always being attentive, but not smothery. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Elkwood Manor! The elopement wedding was absolutely perfect for us and Jim was a thoughtful and charismatic officiant. If you are looking to truly enjoy your day just focusing on you and your partner, this is the place to get married!

Elkwood Manor B&B is absolutely the most wonderful place to stay! Where do I begin--we had never stayed here before and wanted a B&B as opposed to an Air BnB or hotel and wow am I glad we chose Elkwood Manor! The moment we arrived, we were greeted by the kindest, most calm and welcoming hosts, Jim and Odelia. They showed us around the beautiful manor and to our comfortable, huge room. We stayed in the San Juan Suite. It was even better than in the photos. It had a huge jacuzzi for two, a working fireplace that gets the room HOT on a freezing cold night, a TV, huge comfortable bed, coffee and tea, a little fridge, and filtered water. It was everything we wanted and needed and more. I didn't want to leave the room--the view is also incredible from that room. We sat on the porch swing in the morning with coffee. The breakfast prepared by Odelia was outstanding. Very delicious and filling. We also enjoyed evenings in the manor common room, it was cozy and friendly. However, if you do not want to chat or see others, you can come and go unbothered as you please. The other really fun feature is happy hour in the common room every late afternoon. We had an opportunity to enjoy a whole menu of drinks and cocktails, they also have mocktails, and chat with the hosts. Or if you just want to grab a glass of wine and retire to your room, you can do that also! It was truly a special touch and one that will have us returning. Other highlights are that it is just a few minutes from downtown Pagosa, all the restaurants, and hot springs. But you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere which provides a true escape on your vacation or staycation. I cannot recommend Elkwood Manor enough and cannot wait to return!

Jim and Odilia were terrific hosts. We visited over the Christmas holiday and they were kind enough to offer us dinner in addition to breakfast, all of which was outstanding. They have a beautiful B&B and we will definitely return.

The Elkwood Manor with its spectacular and beautiful setting is a hidden gem,so intimate and quiet. Jim and Odelia are the perfect hosts as always. Where else are you warmly greeted as you drive up?! Odelia is a fabulous chef and their hospitality is over the top. The rooms are beautifully appointed.We were celebrating our anniversary and they made it a magical evening for us with all their special touches, even producing an unexpected video to capture our special evening. They both go our of their way to make any occasion special! We would highly recommend this wonderful place to everyone.

Elkwood was the perfect place for an intimate wedding. Our guests all stayed at the manor or across the street at an Airbnb. The location was magical and the food was amazing! We loved working with the owners and staff. Everyone was incredible. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting. We highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting the perfect mountain wedding!

My husband and I got married at Elkwood Manor in August 2024. We came in from Texas, so it was important to us to have a place to stay for the whole weekend with our wedding party (12 adults, 3 children, and 2 babies!!) When I found Elkwood Manor and saw their wedding package, I knew it was the perfect place for us. We added 2 extra nights onto our package so we had time to enjoy everything. The food was phenomenal- daily breakfast and the reception dinner. Jim and Odilia are amazing, so friendly and hospitable! They have a room full of decorations and linens to pick from, all the tables, chairs, dinnerware, the wait staff, and bartender! All of that saved me from having to find rentals, hire people, and bring more stuff with us from Texas. Odilia also orchestrated our rehearsal, so add coordinator onto the list of everything they provide! Plus, they recorded our ceremony so we will have that to cherish forever. They made everything so easy and wonderful. I could go on and on about our trip. If you stay at Elkwood Manor and/or get married there, you won’t regret it!

In August of 2024 my husband and I stayed at Elkwood Manor Bed & Breakfast for our 45th anniversary. It was the perfect place for us to be. It was a quiet and peaceful setting. The charming manor is tucked away in some trees. It has large windows and decks that look out over the most beautiful scenery of meadows and mountains. We spent a good amount of time soaking up the view and watching the many dozens of hummingbirds buzzing around the porch feeders. Pagosa Springs is just a few minutes north with lots of things for us to do and places to eat. There are also many outdoor activities in the area. We particularly enjoyed driving through the mountains and stopped for a short hike up to Treasure Falls. The weather while we were there was fantastic. The pine scented air was cool and refreshing to our souls. Inside the well-kept manor we enjoyed the great room which is where we experienced delicious gourmet meals as well as late afternoon drinks and appetizers. The five large bedroom suites are wonderfully decorated complete with a small refrigerator, coffee maker and fresh purified water. We stayed in the elegant Shogun Suite. Everything was clean and fresh. The hosts, Jim and Odilia were awesome. They are warm, welcoming and fun to be with. They are the most relaxed hosts we’ve ever come across. They also have loads of recommendations of where to eat and activities to take part in. We had such a splendid time visiting with them. Jim and Odilia were very attentive to making our visit pleasant, comfortable and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great get away we strongly recommend you plan a trip to Elkwood Manor Bed & Breakfast. You’ll be glad you did.
