My fiance and I were visiting the cities/suburbs in North Carolina and needed a place to get a quick workout session in. Chad was able to get us all situated!We dropped in, bought a shirt and were all set to go. The gym itself had a lot of good equipment especially for Olympic weightlifting. Not to mention, a great community of people who lift here as well.We highly recommend to any other travelers!!

My husband and I joined CrossFit Local in 2024 and we felt immediately and warmly welcomed. You belong here regardless of your age and fitness level. I came to Local after a long break from a consistent exercise. I began with personal training with Chad and then ultimately found my niche in Barbell Club (powerlifting). Because of the support I received (big props to Coach Kristin -- The G.O.A.T!) I participated in my first ever Powerlifting meet at the age of 60! You could not ask for a more encouraging and talented group of instructors and coaches. CrossFit Local is like family!

Great Crossfit location. I was dropping in from out of state and the whole community was very welcoming. I dropped in for an open workout, and everything went smoothly. The coaches were great and the facility was nice. They had everything I needed to warm up and get ready for the workout. Definitely a CrossFit gym to check out if you were dropping in or if you were looking for a new place to work out.

I joined this gym after taking an intro class 3 years ago. This place is family friendly, clean and extremely professional with top notch equipment. All the members are very welcoming, which is comforting when you are new to this type of workout. All the coaches are professional and helpful. They give you the confidence to reach for new goals that you would not try in a regular gym setting. Whether you are a beginner or expert, you will be challenged. Chad and Kelly are amazing owners and coaches. I’m grateful to have found this place that took my fitness to another level.

My husband and I dropped in for a Saturday morning partner wod and we absolutely loved our experience. The coaches, the members, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We got to get a great sweaty workout in and get a cool t shirt. Thanks CrossFit Local, we will definitely be back!

The best crossfit gym in Chapel Hill if not the Research Triangle Area. Along with classes it's a 24 hour gym. The only downside is that it may be a bit more expensive than most.
