I have been working with Summit Physio & Performance for about six months and I couldn't be happier with the results. I initially wanted help recovering from an acute shoulder injury that occurred while rock climbing. Dr Tessa (my primary) and Dr Cat were both extremely helpful, energetic, and positive about the recovery and strengthening process. I was given exercises along with clear and specific instructions (my prescription) as well as sessions of dry needling. They were always available to clarify any questions that came up about my prescription as I put it into practice.All healing takes time and effort on behalf of the patient, but with persistent work I experienced steady strength and mobility gains. After we had a good handle on my shoulder we moved on to other trouble spots; my hips and my lower back. Again, targeted and specific exercises were combined with dry needling and then cupping (for my lower back). The combination of techniques brought relief and improved mobility in what have been life long trouble spots for me.Not only has Summit Physio and Performance helped me to address injuries and mobility issues, they have helped guide me toward a stronger and healthier body. The whole team at summit is incredibly knowledgable and their approach to healing is holistic and person-centered. Great experience with Dr. Tessa. Was a bit nervous being my first time in PT. I injured my left shoulder and it wasn't healing (4 months). Dr. Tessa is super knowledgeable and used a variety of exercises, needling, cupping, and home therapy. I was back to 90% in 50-60 days!

Bri is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She is helping me with somatosensory tinnitus (ringing is in my right ear only), originating in my neck. I have seen many many other therapists trying to fix my ear ringing to no avail, finally I feel like I am on the right track with seeing Bri. She has been the most helpful with correctly diagnosing my issue and where in my neck the issue is specifically coming from (scalene and levator scapulae muscles), and the dry needling with the E-stim that they do here is already helping more than anything else I have tried, as well as Bri’s gentle PT movements for my neck. I feel so lucky to have found Bri and her caring and attentive support to helping me get my neck more stable and stronger and alleviate my tinnitus. So grateful, it is WELL WORTH the drive so please see Bri or whoever Tesa recommends for you to see you will be in the best hands, their treatments are actual extremely effective.
