Cody explained that ROI’s warranty is for 15 years but in order to honor it they could not patch into the previous roofer’s work, which seemed reasonable to us, so we made the hard decision to have ROI do a full replacement on the back slopes of our home. Not ideal, however the 15 year peace of mind sold us. At the time of signing the contract ROI was three weeks out from starting our project, but within a few days Jordan called to ask if they could start sooner because they knew that we had active leaks. Yes, please! Cody and Jordan were both a pleasure to work with and did an excellent job of communicating with us each step of the process. And last but certainly not least, the crew showed up on time and completed the work in one day and left the job site clean and tidy. After the roof was installed, it appeared that there was a leak. It turns out that the leak was not from the roof (it was a builder defect from when the house was built!!!!). Regardless, they came out within a couple of hours to inspect their work. It took a while to figure out the issue and they were very willing to help figure it out. Because we found asbestos in my house, my two kids and I had to move out until we could get it abated and then get the other problems fixed. Cody remained in contact with me through that 5-month period. He checked in, worked collaboratively with me, with his team of workers and with the workers I had also found for some parts of the work that had to be done. Cody repeatedly told me, “We will get you and your kids back into your home as soon as we can.” I felt like he really understood the difficult situation I was in and was determined, as soon as the green light was there, to get us quickly and efficiently into our house without compromising quality. When it was time for the work to finally be done, Cody was responsive, creative in his thinking and problem solving, responsible and timely in his communication, and totally reliable. He made an incredibly stressful situation feel manageable and even a bit fun. I am now back in my home and the job that was done was outstanding- From the smallest detail to the largest problem. At the end of each day of work, the house was clean, and the equipment put away. If I had any questions or concerns, they were addressed immediately. If I needed help problem solving, I had it. For the interior ceiling repair, you'd never know there had ever been a leak. The exterior roof repair was much more elaborate than I'd expected. It required careful removal of the decking covering the old roof and installation of several layers of new flat roof, sloped to prevent pooling. They then perfectly replaced my original deck boards, which saved me a lot of money. Both jobs were done carefully, successfully, and expeditiously, with nice clean-up afterwards. While they were there, I asked for advice on an icing problem that I have on my back stairs. The work crew recommended a creative solution which made sense to me, so I hired them for that job as well. Once again, they did beautiful work. I recommend ROI construction unequivocally. Got an honest inspection on my roof after my insurance company suggested that I needed a new roof. We recently had a new screened in porch/raised deck installed onto our house. The initial concern prior to construction was attaching a standing seam metal roof over the porch onto the existing house, which has a cedar shake roof. Several contractors I contacted stated it would be very difficult with the valleys created by the pitch of the house roof, different materials involved and extremely costly. The contractor who constructed the addition, Elite Decks & Patios of MD, stated they had a roofing contractor who does excellent work for them and would be able to do the job cost efficiently. Dominic, owner of ROI Construction, and crew showed up and took measurements once the framing was completed and roof tie-ins finished. Accurate measurements were taken then, and as Dominic stated, "Never trust blueprints, because an inch makes a big difference with metal roofs". Very smart thinking on his part prior to ordering the custom metal. As carpenters say, "Measure twice, cut once." Day of the install, the ROI crew showed up and went to work; making sure the ice/weather shield was properly installed and all areas covered, then one worker started on the metal roof as the other crew members installed new cedar shakes. They returned the next day to complete the job, but were impeded by light rain and finally stopped when it became heavier. It amazed me how they gingerly walked along the edges of the metal roof to alleviate denting or bending of the metal as they worked. They did an outstanding job; the fit and finish, seaming of the roof is beautiful. The cedar shake tie ins, with seamed valleys is flawless. New gutters, downspouts were also installed and squared up to the corners of the structure. We had another rain after completion and everything flows perfectly, no over runs from the valleys or gutters. I can't express enough how impressed by the quality of the work, work ethic of the crew, we are. Work was completed in a timely manner and as contracted. Dominic stopped over yesterday to visit and take some photos of the finished product and stayed for an hour and a half to chat! Great company I would highly recommend and use again! Less

I called ROI to have a roof repair completed for the sale of our home while our house was under contract. They were the only roofers to respond and ROI sent two guys out the very next day to complete the repair. This was a time sensitive matter and I am beyond satisfied and grateful for ROI’s responsiveness and excellent customer service. Will definitely be calling them to replace the roof on our new house! UPDATE MARCH 2021: I contacted Dom in January to begin what I thought would be the painful process of replacing our roof. Both Dom and Justin came to look at the roof and were able to help me through the process with my insurance company. Justin personally contacted the insurance adjuster to help with the approval process. Once the roof was fully approved for repair, Justin coordinated the delivery, Dom reached out to make sure everything was going smoothly. The material arrived on time on the scheduled day. When I arrived home from my night shift the next morning, there were no less than 8 people on my roof making quick work of removing the old roof. The crew worked diligently and were extremely professional and careful with our home. They cleaned up well, finished the job quickly, and it looks great! Throughout the process, the team was knowledgeable, professional, and most important of all they were excellent communicators. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I highly recommend ROI! He advised us to not bother with the claim to our homeowner's insurance given the $500 deductible we would pay; it would not be worth the possible increase we could see on our policy over time.
