I started going to AlignLife Preston last August after a mid-back injury. Not only did I find out the scoliosis in my lower back was worse than it had been in my entire life but it was going the opposite way in my upper back (forming an S curve) to try to correct itself. Dr. Matt and Dr. Marian set up a treatment plan for me. I was x-rayed again after the ~3 month treatment plan (twice weekly adjustments, denner roll neck pillow,etc) and my back is straighter and better aligned than it has been my entire life. My pain is gone, my posture is better, I sleep better and I just feel better in general. I could not recommend them enough. They are great at what they do. The results are visible! They also have different payment options for people like myself who don’t have insurance. Dr. Matt has been awesome helping remedy any back/hip issues that I might have flare up. This office is also very great at making sure to help you reschedule (with proper communication, of course) if life happens and your appointment time doesn’t work for you. Dr Matt is truly an AMAZING chiropractor. I have been treated by countless chiropractors (no exaggeration) over the last 30 years and by him specifically in the last 6 of those years…I consider him to be one of THE VERY BEST in his field. He is very diagnostic in his adjustments versus just random adjustments for the whole body. He takes time to examine each part of your spine and adjusts only those parts that need it. He is also able to adjust the occiput (the area just below the base of your skull) which is an adjustment that not all chiropractors are able to do successfully. I am extremely happy that I found Dr. Marian and Dr. Matt. I went to another doctor and in the third session, my back hurt so much that I couldn’t stand straight for a minute. I went in just expecting an adjustment but they also have you do stretches, give you back correcting pillows to use at home, and had us attend a health class to teach us other ways at home we can help out back/overall health. I’ve been going to Dr. Matt for two months and am seeing steady improvements in my posture and misalignments that were leading to constant neck, shoulder and arm pains. He also has been adjusting both my children, 3 and 5.
