Just spent three nights and four days at this lovely farm. Loads of space in a massive field, decent electrics and use of toilets and great power showers. Great location close to Beverley and Hornsea. Didn’t take the bikes this time around but we will next time. The trans pennine trail is close by and provides easy safe route into Hornsea. As the area is flat and the field bound with hedges, there isn’t much of a view. Nice dog walking around the site and small lake that has some glamping boats for hire. A few animals including two donkeys, two goats and a few more animals that we didn’t bother with this time but would be great for kids. Nicely set back from the road and noise was not an issue at all. Many thanks for a lovely stay, we will probably be back soon with bikes. Less

Such an amazing venue! We had our wedding here in July and couldn’t have asked for a better day! Everything was just perfect and Liz and family were so helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly which it did! All of the guests had a great time and complimented the venue! Less

Lovely place! Owners and family are so welcoming, helpful and very friendly. We had a fantastic time at my Daughters wedding! You can stay on 3 boats or various lodges that are really well equipped, there's also a camping field with electric hook ups, you can bring your camper or caravans. We loved our experience! Less

We’ve just had our wedding at Clapholme Farm (02/03/2024) and we couldn’t recommend Liz and Paul enough. Nothing was too much to ask, no stress on the big day and loads of drinking options at the bar. (At a reasonable price too!) We have just spent 5 nights staying in Bluebell Cottage and we had a lovely time. The large cottage is very homely and well furnished and equipped with everything you need. It was lovely looking out of the kitchen window at the chickens wandering about and all the birds feeding, one morning there was even a pheasant looking back at us. The cottages are on a farm with a very large pond and a lovely petting farm with some adorable donkeys. Liz and David (the owners) are extremely friendly and always on hand should you need them. Very well situated withing easy reach of the coast. Can't wait to return. Less

Brilliant great venue, very friendly helpful staff. Love the donkeys and goats. The barn cottage roomy and very clean. Well furnished. Large barn bar and function barn tastefully refurbished with dance floor and rest area with leather sofa's and rustic fireplace. Recommended also has fishing lake and camping field. Less

Bluebell cottage is a lovely place to stay they welcome 1 dog but dont have any dog beds bowls or towels for your pet you have to supply your own which is a pain but overall nice place lovely hosts Less

Love this place it has everything you need for a base to pitch your caravan/motorhome They have well kept grass pitches with hook up and drinking water at the side of the field along with chemical waste disposal and waste water It is a very well kept tidy site with beautiful surroundings They have male and female shower/toilet blocks which are kept lovely and clean and for the little ones they have a small holding of several animals that you can pet and feed theres donkeys goats pigs sheep shetlands chickens .. my husband left his phone in the office when we were leaving and they were good enough to post it back to him And the prices are very reasonable for this beautiful well loved site Less

What a great setting for a wedding. It looked a little rough around the edges on arrival and the initial barn set up for pre ceremony drinks. However the main barn was stunning and so big. Perfect for dancing the night away, a gorgeous sofa and fire area to rest sore feet a while. Food and drink was scrummy. Really loved the animals too. Really wanted to take my new donkey friend home. Nice cottage to stay in with big well equipped kitchen. Only issue was not having control over the heating, it went very cold over night until it came on in the morning, my baby was cold in his cot so had to bring him in with me. Annoying that you have a 2 bed cottage but aren't allowed control over the heating! Less

First came to stay here when my son brought my six month-old granddaughter over from Chile for me to see. And we've repeated the experience from Spain every year to 18 months ever since, a wonderful place to stay with wonderful owners.They do landscape gardening; the view from their house over their own garden can only be described as absolutely glorious, a work of art, I love it. This year we attempted to book in the summer school holidays but, we left it too late and it was fully booked. Rather than go anywhere else we decided to delay our holidays until November, the grandchildren hope to see snow, Grandad prays that we don't. This place is just full of wonderful happy memories with me surrounded by my family, quite a few years worth, my granddaughter will be seven in January. Less

We recently spent a week at Holme Farm Cottages and it was brilliant. The cottages are top totty,and very spacious. The people who own it are lovely people,and can't do enough for you. The layout of the farm is realy nice,the animal area outside is a real treat for the children,with goats,ponies chickens donkeys ducks and pigs. A lot of hard work has gone into making this a lovely place to stay.There is also a Carp Lake on the farm,stocked with Carp. Rudd,Hide,and in the near future to be stocked withF1 Carp.The lake fished very well,and I caught plenty,all in all it was a lovely experience,and we will definitely be going back next year. Liz & Dave deserve every success with Cottages as they have worked very hard to make it enjoyable for everybody..p.s there is also a small Football Pitch with nets for the children,its great, get it booked.
