This is a great place to visit and learn about myopia management. My daughter who needed glasses for school but she could not wear them for water activities so we sought for alternatives. Ortho K was a game changer. My daughter wore it for 3 days over a long weekend and she was able to wake up, seeing clearer, essentially 20/20 vision over 3 days. Basically, she wear the contact lenses at night to sleep and take them off in the morning. Able to see 20/20 the entire day and the process repeat. Best thing is she is able to see clearly with swimming and scuba dive.This does not correct her prescription entirely but it is a measure to slow down the progression of nearsighted until her prescription is stable and she is of age for lasik. I love the safety and convenience of wearing the contact lenses at night. I can monitor and the chance of loss or infection is much less compared to all day contact lenses wear. Less
