I’m not usually the type to leave reviews, but I have to talk about how amazing this place is. Let me start with the office manager, Monika. She is an absolute GEM. She is very helpful and informative while booking appointments. Monika is kind and patient with all questions, I never feel rushed when booking appointments as my schedule can be difficult to work with. She is very responsive when I need to change an appointment, and is very accommodating. Overall, Monika goes above and beyond for patients from booking, to arrival, to check-out. My injector, Cam is the most skillful nurse I’ve ever been to. She is an artist, you can tell she is truly passionate about her craft. I went in today because I wanted under-eye filler, along with cheek/lip filler and Botox. However, she recommended I should actually try dissolving the residual under-eye filler first, and then she would redo it in two weeks. I had a lump under my left eye from previous fillers, as well as pigmentation under both, and I’m SO HAPPY she dissolved first. My lump almost INSTANTLY went away, and as the day goes on, the pigmentation is subsiding. My under eyes already look sooo much better. Cam truly cares and knows what she’s talking about!! I guarantee any other injector would have just went ahead and filled. She then did my cheeks, lips, and Botox and just wow. Instantly made me feel beautiful! Her skills aside, she has great bedside manner and makes sure that you’re comfortable throughout the entire process. Lastly, the prices. You would expect to pay an arm and a leg for the talent of the injector, the personalized experience, and how pampered you feel during the process. But this isn’t the case with Radiant. I have been sugaring and waxing for years. I never considered laser hair removal as an alternative option because I was fearful of scarring (I have colored skin) and the stories of PAIN!!! I have completely changed my narrative since finding Velvet Spa. On March 31st, I came in for my first laser session. I pretty much signed up for the whole body package. Yes, the price may seem alarming at first but when you consider the amount of money spent on alternative hair removal options and the worries of ingrown hair, IT IS COMPLETELY WORTH IT! The office is nice and clean. Front desk representative is the kindest lady who is extremely knowledgeable about hair removal and skincare. I proceeded to speak to the NP over telehealth to determine if it’s safe for me to do laser. And once all that was completed, I met Kim, the nurse who is probably the most skillful at hair removal in the Bay Area! She made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. The laser they use is 2nd to best. Surprisingly, it wasn’t painful (2-3 out of 10) and the Brazilian for me was by far the most comfortable. I recommend asking to “ice up” if you have a low pain tolerance like myself! Fast forward to today, it’s May 12th and I just completed my second session. The laser was a bit stronger today (4-5 out of 10 on pain) but bearable and compared to waxing and sugaring, way more tolerable. I have already noticed 50% reduction in some areas and NO MORE INGROWNS! If you have the cash, go for it. If you don’t, it’s an investment that would pay off. Thank you Velvet Spa <3!!! Less

First, I will say Nazo and Kathy are so professional, knowledgeable, and kind. They really make you feel comfortable. I've had two micro-needling appointments so far and LOVE the results. I haven't been wearing any foundation since I've had the second one done. I feel like I look younger than I did when I was 18. A few friends have said that my skin looks like porcelain. Regarding the actual micro-needling, they start out with putting numbing cream on your face for about 30 mins, so make sure to arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time. My experience has not been painful at all. My face starts to feel tight during the micro-needling, and then, it feels like I have a sunburn for about the next 48 hours. I am extremely generous with sunscreen and now wear a hat outside as much as possible so I don't get new sun damage. I highly recommend Velvet Med Spa. Less

She helped me evaluate my skin type, hair type, and other factors (like age, growth pattern, etc) to customize my treatment and optimize my results - and it really worked!
