We auctioned our house during the pandemic. The interior was staged by a professional company and the first inspection went very well. Due to favourable feedback, the agent recommended increasing our advertised price range from $850,000 plus to $900,000 plus. Then disaster struck when we went into the last lockdown just after the first inspection. So, from then on, buyers could only view the property by looking at photos on real estate websites and we had to commit to an online auction. Absolutely NOT ideal! Curb appeal became very important as buyers were still able to drive past and have a look. But the property looked drab and boring from the outside, so we decided to also get the garden made over and staged. We called in Green Touch Garden & Lawn Services on the recommendation of friends. (Gardeners were still able to work during lockdown) Sarah and Murray were excellent and boy, do they know their “stuff”! They were incredibly professional, knew exactly what was needed to give our property that curb appeal and our investment in them was more than validated when we went to online auction with 4-5 bidders and sold for just under $1.2m!!!!! We think Green Touch Garden & Lawn Services is the best in the business. Not only did they make our garden look fabulous, they maintained it during the lead up to the auction and took all our worries away. Their service, reliability, friendliness and amazing attention to detail made us decide to use them again to design, construct and regularly maintain the garden in the brand new house we have recently moved into.
