Propane West Coast

We are so happy we switched to Propane WestCoast! We were having a big problem with Amerigas whose customer service answers in Nairobi, Kenya. While they are very polite, they could not help us. Amerigas filled us up (233 gallons) on 10/20/25, they forgot to hook up the meter that lets us know the propane level, although we thought it was hooked up. Every month checking it, it went from Oct 80% - Nov 77% - Dec 75% - Jan 72% - Feb 70% to ZERO March 2. We had never used propane before, just natural gas, and while I thought the usage was low, didn't realize that it could not have been accurate. We live in Idyllwild and early March, it was in the 30s at night and we had no heat, no water heater, no range or dryer. They said that since we ran out of propane, it would cost $300 upcharge to receive within 1 day, otherwise it would take 7-14 days to receive propane, plus because WE let it run out, it would be an additional $150 for testing. We kept trying to resolve it with Amerigas for a few days, no one could ever go up the chain of command. No supervisors or management at any of the call centers, even if you can reach the U.S. After talking with Propane West Coast on March 4, the owner and his son came out the next day Thursday to get us setup with a small tank and apx. 20 gallons and let us know that the Amerigas meter was not even connected. Propane WestCoast delivered a 500 gallon tank on Tuesday with 50 gallons, and Thursday, added an additional 350 gallons. They are near Idyllwild in the Hemet area. We really appreciate the quick, quality service and better pricing than we could find locally. They have consistent 5 star ratings for a reason. Read ratings and you will be happy you chose the better company.
