Propane West Coast

I recently visited my local Tractor Supply Company to have a propane tank filled. Unfortunately, the tank was overfilled, and propane began venting from the relief valve approximately every five minutes. Despite this, I was told it was safe to transport and was even advised to “run my forklift” to use up some of the excess propane. Given the safety concerns, I sought a second opinion — and I’m very grateful that I did. After reviewing the photos and videos I sent, Propane West Coast immediately instructed me to turn off my vehicle and remove the tank from the truck bed. Within 30 minutes, Josh arrived on-site. He safely relieved the excess pressure, inspected all valves, confirmed there were no additional leaks, replaced missing caps, and even contacted the Tractor Supply district manager to explain the hazardous situation their staff had created and the need for retraining. FREE OF CHARGE!!After Josh explained the many ways this incident could have resulted in a far more serious outcome, I was extremely thankful I reached out to them.Propane West Coast has earned a customer for life!!
