She was kind to discuss my concerns, guide me about the process, was happy to answer all my relevant and irrelevant queries and was not forcing anything on me that I felt pressurized for. I recently had a text message exchange with a spa I found through an Instagram ad. They were advertising a Turkey neck and face treatment for $149, which I was initially interested in. However, at the time, we couldn't agree on a suitable appointment, so I decided to let it go. This week, I noticed a new ad for a Turkey neck and tummy treatment for $99. I reached out again, but I was told that it’s $99 for the Turkey neck and an additional $99 for the tummy, if I want both it's $180. I found this to be misleading, as the advertisement simply stated "Turkey neck and tummy rescue, the best non-invasive resolution, $99 only" without indicating that the price was for each area separately. Nowhere in the ad did it clarify that the $99 was per treatment. When I texted the spa about this, expressing my concern about the misleading promotion, I received no response, and it’s been over three days. I find it very concerning and dishonest to advertise one thing and then change the details when a customer inquires. If I had gone in assuming it was only $99 for both areas, I would have been quite upset. While other people may have had good experiences with this spa, as reflected in their five-star reviews, I don't believe it to be a five-star business if they can't be transparent and keep their word. The high ratings make me question whether the reviews are genuine. I hope my experience helps others avoid similar confusion, and I encourage the business to portray a more accurate image in their advertising. Less
