I took “Salsa on 2” lessons over 15 years ago at a different school, and I can say with full confidence that VIDA is teaching me to dance, whereas the previous school taught me to perform for a dance recital.At my first VIDA class (salsa beginner level G) Javier had the ladies close their eyes so we could learn to follow the lead of our male partners. He also frequently reminds us to feel the music. Juli takes the time to break down the steps slowly, and remind everyone that dance is a communication between partners. As a team, they ensure all points are covered.VIDA provides a very safe and encouraging environment, with frequent opportunities to socialize and practice with students at other levels. As a very shy and (internally) self-deprecating dance-student, this allows me to build my confidence at my own pace.

Loving Vida Dance Company! 💃🏾Started Bachata as a total beginner and having so much fun! Teachers are amazing, patient, and English-speaking (& bilingual). Went to their monthly social dance, didn't know salsa and everyone was very welcoming (lots of smiles) and showed me the salsa dance moves.

I have so much fun at VIDA! I went with a friend and now my husband and I take lessons. It’s a great time and a great workout! The instructors are patient and friendly.
