My 8 year old son loves training at Blackbelt institute.. great coaches and very friendly atmosphere and fun games to start the sessions. He begs us to take him for extra classes. As parents we feel it really helps the young mind in improving focus, discipline and developing mutual trust and respect. I feel the sparring helped my 8 year old son to build confidence and overcoming his fears.

We’ve had a great experience with Black Belt Institute. The coaches and instructors are super friendly, knowledgeable, and really approachable—especially with kids. You can tell they genuinely care and take the time to help everyone improve.My daughter (8) started in October 2025, and it’s been awesome seeing her confidence, discipline, and overall skills grow. She’s getting stronger, faster, and more focused with each class. Watching her earn her first belt was a proud moment, and the tournament showcase BBI hosted was a lot of fun for both participants and spectators.Classes are very well structured. They start with a group warm-up (running, jumping, dynamic movements, and fun obstacle-style setups for kids), then split by belt level for katas, technique work, and sparring. Students earn stripes and eventually test for their next belt. It’s all very organized and runs smoothly.The facility is great—fully padded mats and plenty of equipment like punching bags, pads, sparring gear. It feels safe and well equipped for both kids and adults.Located in The Hangar, it’s very accessible with plenty of parking.It can get a bit hectic during class transitions, especially on weekends, but everyone is super respectful and helpful—we make it work.Pricing is very reasonable with flexible options, and they offer a free trial class (definitely worth trying). Pro tip: come already geared up to save time when arriving to class.I joined a couple months ago too, and it’s been a fun and rewarding experience—especially being able to train alongside my daughter at home. I've always been curious about martial arts, so I decided to give it a go, and now I'm fully committed. My name is Jan recently signed up for man kickboxing and trained with Twinkle, the place has such a sense of community everyone is so well engaged with each other. And it’s close to home so I’m able to stick to it. They’re great! Recommended to Everyone 💪💪💪👍👍👍👌👌👌

Incredible staff— super friendly and welcoming. The sensei balance fun, games, and playfulness with professionalism. Making learning both engaging and effective. They are also very knowledgeable and patient with everyone learning. My daughter has been attending for a few months and everyone has created a safe and positive space where she feels her best. She loves it! I would highly recommend!!
