Great place. Have started going to kickboxing classes here and the atmosphere is very welcoming/accommodating to all ages, skill levels, fitness levels etc. And of course you will get a hell of a workout in. Highly recommend.

Wonderful community & gym. Classes are high intensity and fun. Coaches Sara, Jayden, Fatima are very knowledgeable & engaging. There are multiple time slots for classes that work with my schedule. The facility is very clean & everyone is super friendly and welcoming!

This place is absolutely amazing! I’ve been coming here for a while now, and the progress I’ve seen has been incredibly rewarding. I love how they have different levels structured to guide you step-by-step toward achieving your goals. It keeps things challenging but highly achievable. On top of the great results, every single session has been an absolute blast. Highly recommend to anyone looking to make progress and have fun doing it!

I've had a great experience at Genesis! The community is amazing and didn't skip a beat during the transition from the previous gym. Sara and Jayden are always so friendly and welcoming, making everyone feel right at home. It's been exciting to watch the gym continue to grow and expand, and I'm grateful to be a part of such a supportive community.

In June 2026 I was looking to get back into martial arts/combat sports after having not participate since the summer of 2019 for various reasons. I Did what most people do and typed in my google search bar, Martial Arts near me and went through all the options.Well Looking I did have a list of things I wanted and things I needed both on paper and within the cultural of the faculty if I was going to commit to this again. This included distance from me , type of class available, and variety of class times. The ladder of which was most important as I work 12-16hr shifts with no set schedule. For the facility culture I needed a place that was friendly to all levels of experience, was understanding and flexible with people who learn at different speeds, and most importantly was open and welcoming. Somewhere that made you feel like they wanted you there and wanted to teach you.I had narrowed it down to a few choices and had gone and participated in a few free classes. But nothing was the right fit for me. Then I got a text from an unknown number, It was coach Sara from Genesis. Now this was unexpected as not only had I forgotten that I had asked some questions on there web site but you don't typically get a real person messaging you ( usually an automated response) let alone someone who was asking questions about what I was looking to get out of my training and what my goals were in all of this. After a short but good text conversation we set up a time for my free class.Now if you have never been to a place that trains any type of combat sports or martial arts it can be intimidating, even if everyone there are the nicest people in the world it can seem a little cold or uninviting, but When I walked through the doors for the first time and coach Jayden welcomed me with a smile and my name it felt good, it felt inviting like they were happy to have me there. When class begin and we started to do partner stuff I had no issues finding people who wanted to work with me and it was alot of smiles and laughs.My plan after that class ,if I enjoyed it, was to do a few drop in classes to see what they are like consistently but instead I signed up with the hope that every class would be as good as that first one, and I have not been disappointed yet. Every time I walk through the doors for class at some point I'm greeted with smiles and small talk not just with the coaches but the other students as well. I have plenty of days I don't want to get out of bed and do anything but if I have schuduled a class it makes it a lot easier because I know I will for sure enjoy going there and doing it.

CrossFit at OEV and now Genesis has truly changed the way I approach fitness. When I started, I had goals I wanted to achieve, but I never expected this community and training style to have such a big impact on my life.The coaches helped me improve my form, understand movements properly, and push myself beyond what I thought I was capable of. Every class challenges me in a different way, and I love that I can see my progress over time.Programming is incredible as every session is thoughtfully planned so you’re not just coming in and doing random exercises.The community is what keeps me coming back. Everyone is supportive, encouraging, and genuinely wants to see each other succeed. Whether you’re new to fitness or have been training for years, you feel welcomed and challenged at the same time.Thank you to Sara, Jakob, Aliyah, and everyone for creating a place that helped me achieve my goals, build confidence, and completely change my mindset. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for more than just a workout!

I’ve been a member with OEV and now Genesis for many years, with Sara as a coach/owner, and it’s been an awesome place to work out. I started in my late-forties, then my husband, and then our daughter. We love gymming as a family and sharing our fitness journeys. This gym works for us and the evidence is in our desire to attend regularly year after year. The welcoming atmosphere, coaching, and programming makes it easy to stay consistent. In a one hour work out, you are coached through mobility, strength, and conditioning combinations that are always different, so you never get bored. The exercises are completely scalable, so it doesn’t matter whether you've been exercising for a day or a lifetime. From someone who hadn’t gone to a gym for decades, and has now been a regular part of this community for the better part of a decade, I would definitely recommend!

I started at Genesis in June after my gym closed. They were so welcoming, the community there is incredible as well as the classes. There are options for strength and conditioning as well as the striking gym. I am taking advantage of both sides, doing strength and conditioning training as well as kickboxing classes! Very happy with the space and the trainers! Highly recommend this gym for anyone who is looking to start from scratch or get back into it!
