I arrived at 4:30 and valet parked my car. they started seven happy hour at 6:00. one bartender for 200 people. I guess I wasn't going to have a beverage. all of the hors d'oeuvres were cold. had they have been of proper temperature, they still were low quality and incredibly salty. in the lobby where cocktail hour was held, the seating was wholly inadequate. it was cramped into a narrow lobby. when we were called into the main dining room I chose to go outside as the music was abusively too loud. I have been to many Rock concerts in my life and this band played louder than any concert I have ever been to.. upon going out to the street to escape the music I find that my car was parked outside at the curb. why did I bother to valet park it? needless to say this was The worst venue I have ever been to in 70 years. My only regret is that I did not get to really enjoy and share this day with the lovely wedding couple. Now in all fairness the bride begged me to come back in I got ear plugs out of my car and went inside. the main course was fabulous. Less

I did my brothers wedding here . Let’s talk about the pros and cons Pros Beautiful and stunning they really maintain the place It has valet parking . The staff was amazing . Literally were the highlight of the wedding . They were efficient. Cons They only allow you to use their vendor for photobooths when there are more advance once’s with better quality . If you’re interested they use creativemedia for photobooths. The fireworks and smoke machines had to be purchased in house as well and it was a lot more than she provide We had 420 guests but couldn’t fit 10 people on a table because some had families of 9. We ended up buying extra headcount’s for no reason . Since it was$110 without food we ended up paying a lot more. Valet took 35 mins to get in . We did have 450 people though . Less

I had my wedding at this venue on July 26, 2024. I must say this is one of the hidden gems in New York City. The location is amazingly convenient to all the boroughs, plus the staff is what makes things flow smoothly. The manager Antonio, will support your event from start to finish. They are very involved and attentive to your needs. If they don’t have something, they will refer you to someone that does. Everyone who attended my wedding cannot stop talking about how beautiful the chandeliers and the decorations looked. I would most definitely recommend this venue to anyone. If you want to bring your own food they will accommodate you. However; they are also fully capable of preparing food from almost every culture. I am grateful to the venue and the staff for being a part of my life story. Less

This is absolutely the best wedding venue, and restaurant in New York! So far, I have not seen a restaurant that would be better than Da Mikele Illagio! Everything is on the top notch! Royal service, delicious food, beautiful presentation of dishes, incredibly beautiful interior, and of course the best owner, with whom it is a pleasure to work!!! I personally had three big parties in there! And each time me, and my guests, were satisfied and amazed by the way the party went! A great place for a wedding or any kind of family celebration or any corporate event. Food was amazing, waiters were fast to organized and to clean tables and all around space. Definitely will recommend this palace that make your event smooth, comfortable by offering special rooms for a preps of groom and bride and their families. A room for a main wedding ceremony was very spacious with many screens for displaying a party and showing a love story. In a hallway there is a photo place beautifully decorated and served as a lovely backdrop for photos. A whole experience was beyond expectations! Less

I have been to Da Mikele Ilagio banquet hall several times, and every experience there has been amazing. The quality of the food is simply phenomenal, and the presentation is top-notch. The variety and amount of food available are almost unbelievable, and it's clear that the owners are dedicated to providing the best possible experience for their customers. What really stands out, though, is the outstanding service. Each and every staff member I've encountered has been friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. The owners clearly place a high value on customer satisfaction, and it shows in every aspect of the banquet hall. Overall, I cannot recommend Da Mikele Ilagio enough. If you're looking for a fantastic venue with top-quality food, service, and presentation, this is the place to be. My Babushka has been to every Zal between the 5 boroughs and long island, and when we sat down to eat after the chuppah she tells me "you should re-do your wedding here" .... Ive been married 4 years almost and had to have a pandemic ceremony 😂 the dance floor was huge so it fit our party perfectly, we had great food, great music and the hall had a great vibe. They also have an elevator for older folks or anyone who needs it, and they have very good valet parking. Refills for things like hot water, coffee, drinks etc were brought quickly and the staff was very attentive. Most importantly, no one had any shitt to talk after the wedding because it was AMAZING!!!! Lights are starting to flicker..but overall it's the bucharian nest of guilt. All the DJ's should know they are encouraging a massive sin when they play the jam to weddings of mixed dancing. There should be a dress code guard. Just because a woman has her features does not mean she should destroy the setting for the people whom work hard to contain their spirituality.
