We are very pleased with the work they did and the final product we now enjoy. Here are some thing we found exceptional about working with them: 1. They had an aggressive timeline and they stuck to their schedule. When we got a quote from them they said that they estimated it taking three week, and they took three weeks. This included all the work in the home. 2. They came in on budget. The final cost of the kitchen was what they quoted us originally. The allowances for materials were reasonable and we were able to find exactly what we wanted. When small things came up during the project they helped fix it without charging extra (such as moving a light fixture) Note: our project was well defined and we did not increase the scope. 3. They cleaned every day. We were living in our home during the renovation and they did an amazing job of cleaning up the space every single day. The rest of our house was not affected by dust and project debris. Overall this experience was way better than anything we could have hoped for. We would 100% recommend them in a heartbeat and we will be looking for excuses to use them again. Less

Their cabinets are all sturdy and custom made to any color that matches a Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore paint color. All the work was completed within the time frame of 10-12 days according to the contract. I’ve had remodels in the past. The thing I loved most about Mark’s estimate is he included items that he would order, but we would pick out, then gave us a price range he used for that estimate. E.g., pulls/handles for the drawers/cabinets, flooring, back splash, and countertop. Adjustments are figured before the last payment is made. Mine came in under the estimate. The estimate does not include any appliances since they are purchases, we needed to buy so the warranty is in our name. In my old kitchen there was a door that initially led outside, but subsequently led to an enclosed sun-room. The kitchen door was useless, but in removing it, the area had to be built as if it was the outside wall of the house. Now that wall of the sun-room matches the rest of the siding on the house. Everyone was professional. The two Matt’s who did the bulk of the job were nice, kind, extremely talented, and hard workers. They showed up on time and left at 4:00/5:00 every day. They too listened to our concerns and delivered. They used drop cloths to protect our floors and cleaned up at the end of every day. To the plumbers, Andrew and Jeff; to Josh, who contributed his time and Michael, who helped during a couple days, you are also much appreciated. We love our kitchen! After an extensive check of several vendors I selected the Andersen team because they made it clear my vision was the priority, and they had many ideas and options that showed they understood my style and what was trending in the business. Mark was the point person for my design and contract. He was flexible, honest regarding what would work or might not, and thorough in all aspects. He had a lot of suggestions and good advice all of which I needed and appreciated. He put no pressure on me to sign a contract and was very responsive when I had a question. I was pleasantly surprised about the supply vendors Andersen worked with – for stone, backsplash tile, floors, etc. Their supply partners had extensive high quality product options and provided me excellent customer care and advice on design. They were very patient with the decisions (and multiple visits) I made to look at products and get samples while trying to complement all parts of the kitchen. The actual work could not have gone any better. Matt #1 and Matt #2 were the multi-skilled crew responsible for the build. They were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable and I was impressed with how well they worked together and problem solved. They started on time each day, protected my property, worked efficiently and diligently, and cleaned up after themselves. Each day I received an update on the progress made and next steps. The plumbers and electricians Andersen works with were equally pleasant and considerate. The custom built shaker cabinets and the little perks (lazy susan, roll out spice rack, sliding pull-out drawers, plant shelves, soft closing drawers and doors, etc.) are fantastic. After performing a lot of research, I asked Andersen to build a custom built-in bookcase for my house. The bookcase covers an entire wall, from floor to ceiling so it included some molding work. They did a fantastic job that exceeded my expectations. It is one of the standout features of my house and was clearly a great investment.
