In August, 2024 we needed to have some tiles replaced in our pool that had come loose (actually they detached and fell off). Our pool service did not do tile work themselves, and recommended Camilo to us for the job. I contacted him and he came out the next day to check out our pool situation. He told me he could replace the tiles, but they would come loose again in a few months because the coping was pushing the tiles out. We then discussed fixing the coping and replacing the tile in just one section. However by doing this the replacement tiles would not match the rest of the tiles. Camilo gave as a very reasonable price to re-tile the whole pool with all new tiles. He said he could start that day and pick up the tiles tomorrow and complete the job. We agreed and he started working on the coping while he drained the pool. Camilo completed work the next day and did an outstanding job. The pool looks beautiful and the inside of pool as well the outside was extremely clean when he was done. On time, reasonable price, excellent workmanship. Arrived when promised, finished when promised. We had a relatively smaller job ~75 sqft to replace tile damaged by tree roots. We had already done the new concrete so Camilo laid the tile - 12x12 slate main pieces, 4x4 and 2x2 travertine tiles in a defined pattern. He had to match an existing design on the pathway that had not been damaged and he did a great job matching the pattern there, as well as adding some concrete to make the pathway a consistent width. My husband and I moved into a fixer home in Orangevale. The floor tiles in the kitchen were cracked throughout and we thought it was from people dropping things on it. We called Camilo @DGO tile to come out and look at the job. After demolition of the floors we realized the concrete foundation of the home was actually cracked which caused the tiles to crack. Camilo explained that he could put a flexible membrane down before installing the tile so we would still be able to have tile floors without them cracking in the future. We couldn’t be happier with our finished floors! The detail and care he took (even in areas that wouldn’t be seen) was amazing.
