We bought a Subaru Solterrra EV earlier this year, and were looking forward to installing a tow hitch for our bike rack. Over the last few months, Subaru have not been responsive to our enquiries, requesting a towbar/hitch accessory. I contacted Speedy Towbars to see if they had a solution.... they didn't.But ... they asked us if they could use the Solterra to develop a towbar/hitch protoype. The Towrite team scanned the vehicle, and used CAD tools to design, test, construct and install a towbar/hitch for Subaru Solterra EV - the first in Qld!!Very happy with Speedy Towbars (Towrite).Thank you Karl, Josh, and the team!!

Excellent, 6 stars at least!2025. This is the second time we had a towbar installed, this time on a Rav4 cruiser hybrid AWD. As you can see from the previous review, we were very impressed with the work, price, but especially the way we were treated. This time around, the experience was very consistent with the previous one. Great work, still a great price, but above all, great customer service. No question was too much, and we were treated like friends, not some necessary annoyance. We were kept informed from start to finish, starting with a phone call to make sure what type our car was, 2wd or awd (different towing capacity), and ending with a complementary longer ball mount. This time the Anderson housing LED was also connected. The whole operation was done in just over 2 hours. In short: we are still very impressed with Speedy Towbars, especially their very friendly and helpful customer service and technical expertise.2024 From initial email to delivery all was done very professional, friendly and quick. As the price was half of another quote, it was not clear of we would get all that we needed. So we had a number of, mainly technical, questions. Our VW tiguan needs the tow-bar electrics to be connected into the car's computer and the computer needs to be programmed correctly to make it aware when towing something. Also, we wanted a Anderson plug installed allowing our trailer battery to be charged from the car's generator during driving. We spoke with the Slack Creek team who were happy to answer all of our questions with expertise and patience. All was installed a week later and look great 👍. They even exchanged the standard ball mount for an extended version at no extra costs. All of this for a very reasonable price. Thanks 🙏 guys, excellent job!
