Service here was great. First time eating here and I enjoyed it. I'm not a wine guy, but I enjoyed the wine they served to compliment the oysters we (my cousin and I) ordered. The vibe of the restaurant was great, nice lights, several intimate booths for those bonding date nights, tables for more casual and informal visits. It seems there was also a space for performances but I'm not exactly sure. Also seemed they had extra seats out back that they access during better weather days. Overall I enjoyed my experience here I would definitely go back to try other things on the menu. My cousin told me it was oyster day so we had a few dozen of them haha. Also had tacos and a burger. I ordered the chicken penne soup for delivery when I was fighting a bad cold and it was mind-bogglingly good. Super flavourful, cleared my sinuses, gave me a hug, and restored my faith in humanity. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt welcomed by the cozy and inviting atmosphere of Ferris’ Grill & Garden Patio. I was seated near the window, which made me feel right at home – it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy my meal. The service was absolutely top-notch; attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Also, the location itself is very convenient, just in the central part of the city. One of my favorite downtown restaurants. I haven’t been in a while as I don’t frequent downtown very much anymore, but a recent visit for Dine Around has reminded me why I love it so much. Just spectacular food, with good portions, and reasonable prices. The indoor section of the restaurant is a bit cramped and some of the seating isn’t the most comfortable, but otherwise it’s one of my all times favourites, and always will be. Happy hour food/drink options are great and they have a lovely patio out back for the warmer months. Less
