Absolutely shocked and disappointed that when I was in a tough financial situation and asked my financial advisor for assistance regarding reviewing my policy to perhaps get some premiums down due to my situation, even AFTER I followed up again. I did not even get the courtesy of a single response. To this day still haven't heard anything. Would never ever recommend you to anyone. Absolutely shocking and horrible.

Atooh,the name says it all,they will spit you out when they don't make any more commission off you.I've been dealing with Nick,one of their advisors, and this guy either doesn't know how the products he sells works,or just doesn't care to assist when queries arise.I plead with you,consumer,please use another financial institution for prompt and diligent service.

You cant trust them : I was phoned and they advertised a discovery bank account to me ,when I asked how much it is per month they said I must apply and then I will see what I qualify for. After doing that they went silent after they opened the account without my permission and now It charged me monthly and it cost me money to close an account I never approved in the first place .This also is now ruiening my credit score .

Atrocious, incompetent service for a 3rd party claim. It has been months for a tiny bump which was not my fault but the staff can't even acknowledge their mails or help the case along with discovery. I would be extremely embarassed if these were my brokers.

On 3 November 2023 I had an accident with my Jeep Renegade. Today is 18 April 2024 and my car still has not been repaired. It was a simple bump in front at not even 30km/h. Bumper, radiator and bumper sensors needed to get replaced. I get excuse after excuse each person pointing the finger to the rest and still no car.My car first went to Nu Wagon Roodepoort. After 3 months, they could not get a sensor fault right and the bodywork was poorly aligned.It was then taken to Arnold Chatz Cars in Roodepoort to get the sensor calibrated. After weeks finally the sensor was calibrated and after they assured me they tested it, the fault light came back on.Once returned, Arnold Chatz Cars, they said they could not get it right. They called in a specialist that we also had to wait for and they said the turbo caused it not to get calibrated. I am not a mechanic but they didn't not explain to me how a turbo can cause an impact sensor not to calibrate. I drove the car for 60kms before the error came back. This does not make senseDiscovery does not want to take responsibility and they state they only provide the service third party repairer. Even though my agreement is with them.Atooh! The broker state they can only email and call and there is nothing much they can due. So no point in having a broker.Please learn from my mistakes. Discovery Insure used to be excellent I I've been with them for years but it seems with maybe moving to becoming more digitalised or maybe they are too big and can only solve big business problems and not something as small as a bumper bashing

Times are hard in a microenterprise that simply HAS to find ways to trim the costs; I expected a litany of reasons why I should not downgrade my coverage, even though I am 65 & have "been around the block a couple of times".Instead, I was met with sympathy & as many variations on the policy that I was trying to explore as I requested. The response time was almost instant - there were more delays from my side as I was trying to get as meaningful cover as I could into my current meagre budget. Since I contacted them on the 29th of the month, they could have delayed until they got the new month's premium, but they did not.Attooh was going to get less premium each month, but they treated me as if I was their most important client !I shall be back.
