I have cerebral palsy which can be hard to do treatment on due to the tightness in muscles as well as muscle tone but he finds a way to create the best physical therapy and treatment sessions with a wide variety of techniques such as deep tissue massage, cupping, laser therapy, electric and dry needling, scrapping, hands on stretching, chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy exercises, training, and more.No matter what type of injury or disability you might have, he will be very accommodating and will help you in any way he can for both physical therapy and recovery treatments. I have been going to him for over 10 years now and do not plan on stopping. You will not regret seeing Shane Smith for any kind of adversity that you might be dealing with physically.

Dr. Shane is very knowledgeable about the mechanics of the human body. He tailors the treatment to the individual as opposed to the “one size fits all” treatment at other physical therapy facilities. He uses many different forms of therapy to facilitate maximum healing: dry needling (with current), manual massage, red light therapy, scraping, pulse therapy and physical exercise. To add to that, Dr. Shane has a very pleasant demeanor and is very compassionate. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking the full benefits of physiotherapy.

I saw Dr Shane Smith several years ago because I had knee surgery and foot surgery the same day and it was a lot more extensive than I ever thought it would be. I went to my first visit in a wheelchair and I really did not think I would walk again, and I was crying, and Dr Shane Smith told me I would walk again, and he was right. He got me out of the wheelchair to crutches, and then to walking. It was not easy, but he kept me upbeat and he was fun to talk to, so my appointments went by very fast. He really knew how to individualize my treatment plan for my special needs. A few years later I tore my shoulder and could barely move my arm, but I did not want to have surgery, so I went back to Dr Smith for my shoulder, and he started doing treatments, and today I am completely healed with zero pain and complete range of motion. I looked forward to my visits and Dr Smith again was very creative with the treatments and exercises he did on my shoulder. I would recommend Dr Shane Smith for any of your Physical Therapy needs

I was suffering from chronic tennis elbow pain and even simple tasks were a challenge. Being a physical therapist myself, I knew I had to see the best. I had unbearable jaw pain as a wisdom tooth started to come through halfway through my second pregnancy. Dr. Smith took so much care to make me feel understood to deliver the right treatment, even in the middle of his busiest season. He had not only the skillset to deliver pain relief by his hands, but the training to take it further with advanced technology. After four nights of not being able to sleep longer than two hour increments from the pain, I finally got the eight hours I needed!

Dr. Smith has treated me for lower back pain and most recently after I injured my shoulder. He does a great job of explaining the reasons why I’m feeling pain and how we together can correct it. I always leave his office feeling better. I also really like how he gives me various stretching positions and exercises I can do at home to increase and speed up my healing process. I’m very satisfied with Dr. Smith and will continue to see him for therapy.

We have been treated by a number of Physical Therapists over the years.Dr. Smith is the first holder of a PhD. in Physical Therapy. He has reached the pinnacle of the academic ladder in this field. Dr. Smith has melded numerous therapies, such as Radial Pulse Therapy, Cold Light Laser Stimulation and Graston soft tissue therapy into his practice. I've seen Dr. Smith team up with a podiatrist and together they managed to remove, without any surgery, a growth that had attached to a woman's tendon on the bottom of her foot. Dr. Smith has helped me heal from a terrible rotator cuff strain and triceps injuries. This is the best physical therapist I've ever, we've ever had the good fortune of working with. I went for PT at Naples Premier Physical Therapy following knee surgery to repair a torn quadricep tendon and miniscus. I had previously received PT from Dr Shane Smith for other problems and had no hesitation to return to his practice to address this post surgery situation. PT consisted of restoring and strengthening the quad muscle and knee range of motion to pre surgery status. The PT was a combination of in office sessions and tele health sessions during the COVID 19 pandemic. Also, a home program was tailor made to supplement these sessions. All of these PT services were performed with outstanding one on one personalized attention from Dr.Smith, who was my Physical Therapist. I have had numerous physical therapists work with me over the years for various problems. I found that Naples Premier Phyical Therapy and Dr. Shane Smith to be exceptional and far and away the best I have experienced. A combination of hands on therapy and guided exercises were expertly done. There was always attention given to challenging you to go to next level to make steady progress toward improvement. You never were left alone for the therapist to shift attention to another patient. You always had individual attention for your whole PT session. A friendly and compassionate relationship was always part of the interaction. Questions were always welcomed and knowledgeable information provided.
