The ladies at Diosa are superb. From the booking to choosing your photos. Everything far exceeded my expectations. Having a facial beforehand with Rachel at Skin & Soul made my skin perfect for my makeup application. My hair & makeup experience was fabulous. Unfortunately I have forgotten my makeup artists name, but she did a stupendous job. Tanya was excellent. She was so professional, caring, and informative. She directed me for all my poses. Being a plus size woman, I was very nervous, but she made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. My photos were spectacular. I really didn't recognize myself and loved them all!! Amazing experience for my first time doing pregnancy boudoir! I think pregnancy is a beautiful time and wanted to celebrate my changing body to grow a person. The women empowered me to do just that and the photos are stunning! Absolutely recommend! Less

Diosa was amazing. I received a lot of emails leading up to my shoot with clothing suggestions, health and beauty tips, as well as coupons from relevant business to prepare me for my shoot with the reminders about my shoot. Prior to my shoot, I completed a questionnaire to help the makeup artist, hair stylist and photographer so we could create photos I would be happy with. I was able to pick my favorite feature and my least favorite feature. I was also able to decide what kind of makeup look I wanted with picture examples (natural, soft glam, full glam, etc.) I was able to tell the team what colors I did not like at all so they would not be used. My sizes were requested for shoes and clothing if I wanted to use their clothing and shoes but I chose to bring my own things. They also had some great props but I brought my own. I chatted with my photographer and my makeup/hair stylist. We talked about a lot of our experiences and I did not feel judged at all. We also discussed some of the examples that were done and on display in the studio to showcase the variety of work, outfits, props, women, poses and of course the albums, prints, frames and what not. They had burlesque examples displayed, women in traditional garb or posing with it. They had tasteful nudes and partial nudes, black and white, full color, photos that played with the shadows and light, everything. The studio is tucked away but parking was easy to find. The actual shoot studio was insane. There were windows (blocked so nothing could be seen but light could come through), lighting, couches, beds, faux fur rugs, soft cozy blankets, a beautiful bed, pillows, plants, you name it! I did my shoot in November (I was chosen for a birthday special they were running in October but I couldn’t schedule until November.) Tanya was so nice to let me push the shoot out to November when I had time off of work. I was able to choose my photographer. Prices were tiered much like a hair salon where the most experienced stylist has a higher booking fee. This is all communicated upfront. I did my shoot with Kaleigh. She was so mindful. I really really liked her. She was constantly adjusting my hair, my pose, told me to re-tie a little bow on a pair of shorts, tucking tags, things like that to get the best poses possible. I was able to take a few breaks as holding those poses can get very tiring and I was wearing some crazy shoes! She was also very mindful of my physical limitations as I have bad knees and ankles. She was a quick shot!!! We would find a pose that was a little uncomfortable and she would say “just hold really quick” and would take a bunch of shots from different angles and distances of the same pose. She was so fast so while I could not hold the pose for a minute (because of my physical limitations), she took SOOOOOO many shots super quick and we got workable pictures. The way she shot was very different than other photographers I’ve worked with in the past. Before we started, she made sure we had things (outfits, shoes, props) paired up correctly and we decided on the most efficient way to move through my outfits (and lack thereof). We went from clothed/lingerie down to nothing and were therefore able to get more photos. When I scheduled my reveal, Tanya and I went through my edited photos and I got to choose which I would be purchasing if any. I was so thankful that there was a payment plan. I will be honest, this studio may appear more expensive than others, but hair and makeup are done ON SITE and INCLUDED in your booking! I have done shoots with other Boudoir companies and I am not great with hair other than pin-up style (which isn’t really great for Boudoir in my opinion) and makeup can be a challenge as well because if you do an “every day” look, it may not transfer well to photos. It was so worth it! Sometimes they run specials and the products they offer to commemorate this beautiful thing you are doing for yourself or a partner are top notch! An absolutely wonderful, life-changing experience! I went in earlier this month for my first ever boudoir shoot with Sarah as my photographer and Leanne as my makeup artist/hair stylist. I was nervous but Sarah and Leanne helped me feel right at home and brought so much positive energy to the start of my session that stayed with me throughout the photo-taking process. My end results took my (and my fiancé’s) breath away! Sarah has a magic eye for capturing the best angles and lighting, and Leanne did a wonderful job making me feel like my sexiest self for this shoot! Thank you to them both and to Tanya as well for creating such a beautiful safe space for women to feel their best. This won’t be my last boudoir shoot for sure! 💕 Less
