Great location - easy walk to all of the sights.Room was a little dated, but very clean and nice! It was also very quiet, which was appreciated. We also used the laundry service, which was great!

It was an absolute pleasure staying at the Georgian mews. From the time of check in Allen was wonderful and could not do enough for us. Everything went smooth, the rooms were remarkably clean and well equipped. The staff in the dining room were very organised and never to much trouble to swap and change if needed on the breakfast menu. It all met our expectations and more plus Allen did something g special for my husband. The guest house is a 2 minute walk from the main town and a 10 minute walk from the train station. We stayed for one night. The room was clean and very close to the city centre. They had also left wine, coffee and milk in the room for us, which was a lovely touch. The room was quiet and peaceful. There is a small car park, which we used for free. Thank you very much for everything.

Very nice place. It was clean, and complimentary drinks and toiletries were left for us. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Minster so ideally located. Would highly recommend.

Just had a three day stay at this wonderful hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed including tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel staff are very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent - all prepared to order. The hotel is perfectly positioned for enjoying everything that York has to offer. Just a few minutes walk from the Minster and from the National Railway Museum. It's also only a ten minute walk to the station. We had a lovely stay and would happily stay again.

Lovely hotel, service and staff are brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Perfect location for central York. Only thing I would say that wasn’t a massive issue but the shower could have been hotter.

Nice hotel, staff very friendly and welcoming. Only a 15 mun walk from train station, and we weren't walking fast at that. Bed comfy,nice bathroom, breakfast was very nice . The only reason for the 4 stars overall was we we at the top floor and as it's an old Georgian house the stair rail was low and I was a little put about by it. But would stay again as the service was top notch.

Just had an amazing couple of days there. Staff helpful and friendly. It is so close to the centre, fantastic amenities close by. Parking was handy right around the corner. Would highly recommend this place

Nice relaxed guesthouse providing a very pleasant, clean and warm room. Fantastic hot and powerful shower in ensuite bathroom. Superb and very filling home cooked breakfast options. Only minutes walk from the Minster and city centre/attractions. Owners and staff create a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Hopefully will return in the near future.

Very pleasant experience. Easy check in and check out. The bed was very comfy. Extremely convenient location, one block outside the historic walls and near some stellar pubs.
