Just come back from this hotel after a 2 night stay. Glass of Prosecco on arrival, lovely clean room, location was perfect. Less than 5 minute walk into the centre. Great location and wonderful staff. The room had everything we needed, fantastic water pressure in the shower. High recommended.

We stayed in the Mews at the back last week for 2 nights and were not disappointed. The staff are all polite and helpful the room was clean and a good size, breakfast was lovely and set us up for the day, the location was perfect just a minutes walk to the shops and restaurant's the only down side was the room was warm and a fan would have been nice.... We stayed for one night on a bed only basis.... staff were friendly, bed comfortable, room clean with a small bottle of prosecco plus tea/coffee/biscuits. Just a short walk into the city. Could ask for no more. 👍... More

We didn't stay for breakfast but we had a lovely stay and would stay here again. The room was very clean, well sized and exactly what we needed, although, if you're quite tall and staying in Room 2, mind your head through the door... jokes aside, great stay and a lovely touch with the complimentary bottle of prosecco! Quiet at night and just 1-2 mins walk from the city walls, with the main features of the city starting a couple of minutes within them (ie Minster). Great value. Speak to reception about parking as I parked on Bootham Row which was very handy but very expensive. I believe that there is another, cheaper carpark but by then I didn't want to s... More

Brilliant location, friendly helpful staff. Clean quiet room and a beautiful breakfast. Faultless. We have visited York numerous times and accommodation can be a nightmare, but this will be our first choice from now on.
