My wife and I decided to go grab the lunch special at the restaurant in which we first met. Either she was really impressed with me, or the food from the restaurant I chose, because after all these years, here we are.For $8.99, it’s hard to beat their lunch special. I enjoyed the steak fingers and mashed potatoes, but the Spanish Rice could have used a little more tomato flavor. Her Chicken Fried Steak was equally as good, and the Sweet Potato Casserole was so good that I had to “help” her finish them. Thus, if you are looking for a lunch that is easy on the pocketbook, but has a wide variety of dishes to enjoy, I highly recommend George’s lunch specials.

Food was great. 💯 Recommend the Huevos Jorges! It was so good. My drink got lost in the shuffle, but everything else was so good, it was fine and they were super apologetic and offered me a replacement, but I was so distracted I forgot about it.

The food and service were excellent. The onion rings are so good. They have fried foods perfect. I love their fried catfish and okra. Our drinks stayed full and the waitress continued to check on us.
