Our daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis when she was 12. We saw specialists in the Dallas area. They said that it would not progress and that bracing is no longer used. Well, it did progress to a 42 degree curve and she was in pain a good deal of the time. We again saw additional specialists in Dallas as well as NYC. Again, no help. They prescribed pain killers and lidocaine patches. I asked my chiropractor for any recommendations. He had a patient who had seen Dr. Hilliard in Austin with wonderful results. We met him and he is the only professional who had a solid plan. She was fitted for her brace and this summer she spent one week at the Irving office and a second week at the Austin office. In just two weeks Dr. Hilliard reduced her curve by 25% and she is no longer in pain. She wears her brace and does the exercises and we expect to reduce her curve by another 25-30% over the next couple of years. We cannot be more thrilled with the results and would enthusiastically encourage anyone to use the CLEAR methodology with even the smallest of curves and definitely if you were referred to receive surgery. My daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis 3 years ago and we are so grateful we found Dr Hilliard at Scoliosis Treatment Center Irving. We just ordered her second Scolibrace and she has done the scoliosis bootcamp. As an All-Star cheerleader, it’s important for her to be able to tumble, stunt, and continue to grow physically strong. Dr Hilliard assigns exercises to help strengthen the supporting muscles of the spine, takes X-rays at every appointment and has really made her understand that there are so many proactive things you can do to correct the curvature of the spine. He has been able to reduce her curve a total of 13degrees where most doctors told us that was not possible. Thank you Dr. Hilliard for all that you do!

After 1 year of trying to figure out what the problem was with our 12 year old daughter, she was diagnosed with scoliosis. We did'nt know much about it, just knew we did not get what we were looking for here in Mexico. So i started searching online and we are so thankful that we found out about the clear method nonsurgical scoliosis treatment with Dr. Collin Hilliard in Austin TX. Dr. Hilliard is amazing! He was the answer for us when other institutions told my son he would just have to live with his scoliosis. Dr. Hilliard knew right away he could help him. He was very honest and did exactly what he said could be done without over promising. We had amazing results and he was patient with our teenage son who didn’t want to be in treatment or a brace. The methods at the scoliosis treatment center do in fact work. We did 3 week long treatments over the course of his treatment and followed his exercises daily. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Hilliard to anyone seeking scoliosis treatment.

He is enormously thorough with your condition, is goal focused, explains the process, and looks for additional opportunities to improve your health. Dr. Hilliard is amazing. My daughter had been to several doctors, physical therapist, and another chiropractor. They weren't able to figure out what was wrong and actually misdiagnosed her. She had been in pain for 6+ months. In the first visit with Dr. Hilliard, he was able to figure out what was wrong after listening and then doing an x-ray to verify his diagnosis. We can't describe how grateful we are to have found the Scoliosis Treatment Center and the CLEAR approach to treatment. Our 6 year old twins have a neuromuscular syndrome that causes severe weakness and leads to scoliosis. The orthopedist and most providers/online info says nothing can be done and surgery is inevitable. Our daughter's neuromuscular scoliosis was worsening quickly so we started her with Dr Hilliard first and after a 4 day intensive to mobilize the spine, along with progressive bracing, her curve went from 50 degrees to 28 degrees. Please note that for our children and their persistent weakness, we will need to get this treatment monthly for years to come as we strengthen them and have them use their brace quite a lot. But this treatment really works to keep their spines and curves flexible and correctible. Even if they ultimately need to get surgery, it seems clear that this treatment will help us delay it long enough that they will likely need less surgery over time (the orthopedist said they'd likely need 3 surgeries unless we could delay the first one till they are 9 years old).Also of note: I have a doctorate in physical therapy and feel this form of significant and repetitive mobilization of the spine is a key that's missing from other established forms of treatment like the Schroth Method. Though I really appreciate the merits of the Schroth Method, it didn't produce nearly the results that the CLEAR method has for our children with neuromuscular scoliosis. I would recommend anyone with scoliosis to go to this CLEAR center for treatment. I have been working with Dr. Hilliard for a couple of years after working with a CLEAR doctor in Connecticut/NYC for 5 years prior. While I was happy with my former doctor, I moved to Austin and was so thankful to find a doctor that could continue my care. Dr. Hilliard has refined and adapted my treatment over time based on my changing condition. I am thankful that I have found a way to avoid back surgery that an orthopedic surgeon recommended 7 years ago.

Absolutely love Dr. Hilliard! On my first visit, my husband had to help me walk in the door because I was in so much pain. After a few adjustments I was feeling much better and after 2 weeks I was running again. He has decreased my scoliosis curve dramatically and gives me exercises to do at home to help maintain my posture. He is the only chiropractor I trust to help my scoliosis.
