Custom Fence and Landscape did a great job fixing my broken fence. The fencing started to brake from my dog and I didn’t have the money to replace the fence line. I had a terrible experience with this company- They didn’t have a clue on installing my vinyl fence. They made several excuses and never completed my project To make things worse I paid them Cash upfront which I will never do again. This company gets No Stars. Well, all i can suggest is to RUN from Matthew Hall. My experience was horrible. He did 2 fences for me (on the same day). Both feel down within weeks. He did not follow up on his promises. So, we took him to court and won. He was cheap,,, and I should have been better at my judgement. Because I was 100% taken in by this guy and Custom Fence and Landscape. RUN, RUN ,RUN!!!!!

However, I gave him $8,380 in cash up front to secure the materials and 50% payment for labor so that when my pool was done there was no wait for the fence. He texted my after this transaction and said he was going to go buy the fence. The pool was installed, came time for the fence and he did not have it in his possession. Said he would need to reorder as he never picked it up from Lowes. He said it would be about a month to get it. Said I could not wait with liability exposure with a pool and no fence. He gave me the option of a return of my cash. Told him I would take that option. Took me a month after that to get him to meet me with my cash. We met and he only gave me $6,200 in cash back. I asked about the balance and he said he had return money to get from other Lowes locations. I kept texting him about getting the balance and the response was always, "have not had a chance to get up there." So been 2 months since the first amount given back to me and now for the last month he does not answer my call-straight to voice mail. Nor does he respond to my texts or voice mails. I am out $2,180 at this point that he still needs to refund me for materials and services not rendered. Less

Matt put up our fence this summer. He was incredibly responsive. He personally answered when I called to set up a meeting and came out the same day to come take a look at our project. We got estimates from several companies including Custom Fence (all of which had 5 stars). Custom Fence was the most fairly priced and didn’t have an enormous wait time to get started (unlike Toledo Fence and American Fence who said they couldn’t start for several months). The utility companies were giving us a hard time about coming out to mark any lines prior to fence building, but Matt kept calling to push things along and give me updates. Once things were marked, Matt and his partner came the next day and dropped off all of the supplies to get started the following day. There had been a power outage the night before and Matt was recovering from a cold but he was still there and worked through rain as well to get the job done. When I expressed that it’d be alright for him to wait until he felt better, he said we’d waited long enough for our fence (due to the utilities taking so long to come out) and he wanted to get it done for us. A few days after completion, I thought a few posts seemed a bit loose and he came back soon after with more concrete to fix them. He said he was sorry for that happening and if I ever had any other issues to let him know and he’d be back. That is real customer service! He even dealt with our not so friendly neighbor who was not happy about our putting in the fence Everything lines up well and looks great! Custom Fence and Landscape has done several things for us over the years. Came out on a hot day and worked hard to beautify the yard.

They damaged the house and nailed our fence to my neighbors fence which is Illegal so we are having to remove it and he said I will give you a lush green yard for 500$ and this is our results,and they used a dollar tree latch then wen we were removing bords one screw was holding a entire fence and they just left the metal fence in the yard and said you take care of it ,they robed us.

They just took a Changsaw and cut the bottom of the post and diddent even take take it out of the ground my fence looks horible, I saw no permit in there truck, my cousin paid 4 grand and to get a bad job,they diddent give a a fence permit which you need or else the township can tare it down

Matt from Custom Fence and Landscape replaced the mulch from our planting beds with river rock for a very reasonable price. It was a big job but he got it done quickly and it looks great! Would recommend his services to anyone looking to make improvements to their landscape or need fencing done.

Matt & crew were great. I approached him on a Friday night while he was completing a job at my neighbor's home. He was at out home the next morning weeding flower beds and adding new mulch. He did a great job and also gave us awesome advice on where to buy grass seed & fertilizer for another project yard we decided to handle personally. Highly recommend using this company!
