Jimmy, Maria, Katie and Greg at Carter Fitness are the best! I lift 3x a week with them and have seen a huge improvement in my strength, which has translated to significant improvements in my running. The coaches pay attention to every client and help modify exercises as needed to make sure everyone is reaching their goals. I joined Carter about 6 months ago and have been thoroughly impressed with the staff and overall experience. Since becoming a member, I've seen significant improvements in my health and fitness levels, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to join Carter. Hello fellow fitness enthusiasts! I wanted to share my recent experience with a 30-day Challenge Event to reduce bodyfat by 2% in 30 days. This Challenge was organized and led by Coaches Maria and Katie and included a weight training regimen, dietary intake assessments through a user-friendly Cronometer App, and ample support via group chat. What I want to share is what worked for me. I have long been disciplined about calorie intake and working out. Yet reducing body fat composition proved elusive, especially with age. But in this Challenge Event, I learned two things previously unknown. First, my diet was woefully deficient in protein. Second, my body responded much better to a 6 day a week workout routine (3 weightlifting, 3 cardio) rather than my normal 5. These two simple, but powerful, discoveries made all the difference and prove to be my personal Rosetta Stone. I made my goal and I have been able to stay on track and continue my progress! Much of what goes into health and fitness is a function of the effort that you put in. Carter Fitness definitely makes it as easy and enjoyable as possible to do the work. All you need to do is show up and put in the effort. Workouts are programmed for you, and trainers are there to guide you through every day, meeting you at your level, whether you're brand new to working out or a seasoned athlete. Each month is a new program to keep things fresh and fun, but with enough consistency to know that I am making strength gains. Coaches are happy to tailor your workout to help you meet specific goals, and nothing ever gets boring. The monthly challenges, social events, and cardio class options are like icing on the cake, and only add to the sense of community at the gym. Because of Carter Fitness, I can say that I am the strongest and fittest I've ever been in my life. I truly feel like the cost of my membership is a monthly investment in myself and my health that pays in dividends. Less

Carter Fitness has been my home away from home for the past year now. I have worked out at several different gyms and worked out with different trainers and no one compares to my experience I have had at Carter Fitness. The trainers are amazing and take their time to get to know you personally and want to help you reach your goals. While working out there, they push you to your max and motivate you to always do the best you can do. Jimmy has worked extremely hard to make this gym a positive environment and a place where you can forget your problems and put in the work to make you feel better than you did walking in! Less
